For Outlast Trials Krueger… How does he interact with the other Prime Assets (Coyle, Gooseberry, Franco)? Does he have specific, strong feelings towards each of them or are they all just another obstacle when it comes to Prime-Time mode?

So! I feel as if he’d tease and butt heads often with Leland Coyle due to their similarities such as both offing their wives, donning burn scars, toying with their prey, having become liked in their respective towns, etc. Krueger would definitely abhor the man’s ‘need for justice’ and rampant sexual tendencies, finding the crotch grabbing disgusting and off-putting. They’d work quite well when it comes to taking down reagents, but I wouldn’t let them stay in the same room for too long; unless you want two fighting, howling cats trying to compete on who’s the most dominant?

Gooseberry, however? Krueger wouldn’t have strong feelings towards her. While I do picture him as having been a lustful, cheating man behind the scenes, before he was burned by the parents, he wouldn’t be trying any games with that woman. Gooseberry has too much of a ‘motherly’ act going on for his taste and, besides, she’d undoubtedly dislike his verbal loathing for children. Would they work together fine for Prime Time mode? Absolutely! Krueger would only have to deal with Doctor Futterman’s annoying quips.

Franco would be a problem. Krueger would nag endlessly about the way using a gun is ‘weak,’ how the prior gangster looks ‘fuckin’ stupid,’ and with annoyance towards his childish behaviors. They would be the least compatible to working together solely because the half-burned maniac would be too busy making mocking, snippy comments. Lupara would surely be aimed at him.

Feel free to ask for more details about how I’d believe he’d interact with a particular Prime Asset if wondering! :3 I shortened my thoughts here!

Finally finished my Outlast Trials concept of Freddy Krueger becoming a Prime Asset instead of the dream demon we know! The two main alterations made to his lore were his birth date and him being ‘rescued’ by the police force instead of becoming completely burned alive!

The three paragraphs dumb down his backstory, so if you do not know the original slasher character, then I recommend searching him!

I changed his glove to have a heating mechanism underneath the blades. And I feel like I could’ve added more to his design, but that’s for if I ever decide to remake this concept in the future.

Expression art of an old roleplay scene. Long, long story short? Freddy got pulled out into the real world by a teenage girl and her protective father proceeded to beat the shit out of him before stabbing him with a scalpel up through his tongue, eventually ending the menace. The mother probably curb stomped his corpse too.

I think I’m finally getting the hang of his face?
