This whole situation stuck out to Minato as familiar somehow, yet he was certain Minato had never encountered a small girl in a tree before. Minato smiled as if this whole thing was a giant joke to him. Which it sort of was, considering the circumstances.
Minato looked around, his eyes eventually resting on the small bag nestled near a fancy bike, probably one bought in this region. it had that distinct Unova look to it. Minato pointed to the bag, not waiting for her to respond. Which was unlikely anyway seeing as how the girl was far into the sky. Within seconds Minato had the bag in front of him and was holding it open. Minato contemplated glancing inside the bag, but decided against it, knowing it would do nothing but create trouble for him.
“Throw down as many as you need, I’ll see if I can catch them.” Minato was reminded of the Pokemon Amie game, knowing he would have to move around for each apple. This would certainly be fun.
“Ah.” He actually decided to help her out? That was a little surprising, she’d really expected him to excuse himself and go on his way. But this was certainly not unwelcome. “Thank you very much.”
Formalities out of the way, Madotsuki reached over her head, and picked an apple that seemed particularly ripe and red. She judged its weight a moment, tossing it from one hand to the next, before finally deciding on its good quality, and tossed it carefully onto the bag the boy held open.
Unfortunately for both of them, the apple curved in its flight, and ended up hitting the boy in the face. She winced.
“Sorry... are you okay?” Before any more words could be said, Madotsuki had turned herself back to the trunk of the tree, already beginning her descent to the ground. Sure, an apple to the face wouldn’t hurt too much, but the whole thing was still sort of her fault.
