not to crank my own hog, but I'm pretty happy with how this ended up looking. i lovelovelove the idea of !Priesterman, I think it ties in so well with Hendrick's personality and ideology. thanks for the ask!

rambling below the cut!

ok ik it's pretty on the nose but I just want to point it out anyways, I'm making out Hendrick to be the 'serpent' in this garden through the apple hanging above his outstretched hand, and the fact that he has emerged from the shrouded darkness while Liliya is bathed in white light. I'm sure Tumblr has tanked the quality so idk if you can make out the scowl on her face.

I did some pretty surface level research on flower symbolism/language: the daffodils on Easterman's side of the image have the tale of narcissus tied to them - as well as the concept of rebirth and new beginnings (how fitting).

Liliya has lilies which have the concepts of virtue, purity, and devotion tied to them. And, her name... Liliya... I wonder if that's how red barrels settled on her name? (If I got these meanings totally wrong, please someone let me knowww ｡°(°¯᷄◠¯᷅°)°｡ )
