My name is Sleepy0s, you may call me Sleepy! You’re either here because you’re interested in my writing.. or you saw someone tag me, either-way Hello!!

I mainly do writing of little drabbles but i might write a proper fic someday! If you have any ideas, or things you would like to see me write please dont be afraid to suggest them here or on my ao3!

Hosting a FANMADE life series

LIFE SERIES!

HELLO! This post is for EVERYONE, but I'm also looking for some people who are around the Australian timezone or ARE in Australia. (Simply because we will need everyone to be able to record at the same time).

I’m sure we have all heard of the Life Series in some way, yk, third life, last life, double life, etc. The popular series created by content creator Grian.

Well! We are hosting our own series, Using the Secret Life Gimmick. This is when, at the start of the session, you will be given a TASK, which you have to fulfil by the end of the session without anyone guessing your task!

When will this be hosted?

EVERY WEEKEND, starting this weekend.

It will either be 10:30 am OR 11:30 am ACST time (That is South Australian time, so you can do the conversion). We haven't decided which one yet.

It is OKAY if you arrive late or leave early, but we would prefer it if you could make most of the session.

Requirements/extra info:

- You gotta have Discord! Just so we can arrange things.

- Any gender! Any age! (I am 17),

- Have Modrinth or be willing to download it. (Gotta have simple voice chat)

- Actually have some free time to record. And be able to make MOST of the sessions.

- Java and bedrock work

- Would prefer content creators, but honestly don't mind, just trying to have fun! And if you ARE a content creator, you are welcome to join,n no matter how many subs you have!

Sam had returned to the house at around 2:00 am, left the door wide open, and then promptly passed out on the floor. This is a very common scenario, this happens a lot. Usually, he wakes up around 2 hours later and drags himself to someone's bed. Or the sofa. 

Which is why it is slightly worrying when Taurtis drags himself down the stairs at 12:00 pm, only to trip over Sam’s body. 

“Uhm. GRIAN! Sam’s on the floor!” He yelled, hoping Grian could hear him from the upstairs bathroom. 

“WHAT? How’d you know?” Came the muffled response, 

“I tripped over him.” 

Footsteps could be heard as Grian made his way to the top of the staircase, looking down. Toothbrush still in his hand. “Oh, are you alright?”

“Mm… yeah.”

So the two went back to their morning routines. Grian went back to the bathroom, brushing his teeth, basic skin care, getting dressed and ready for the day, etc. etc. Taurtis sat on the sofa, playing games and eating his slice of toast and toritos. 

Neither really cared too much about Sam’s unconscious body, until it was time to go to school.

Grian had his bag over his shoulder, and stood in the living room, staring down at Sam. He prodded him with his finger a couple times, before giving him a harsh kick in the rib. Nothing, no response. 

“Sam won’t wake up, what do I do?” He asked, as Taurtis joined him near the door. Taurtis stared down at Sam, tilting his head. “Have you tried kicking him?”

“Yep.”

“Oh.” Tautis shrugged, kicking Sam’s shoulder,” I’m out of ideas then.”

It was quiet for a bit as the two thought about what to do with their ‘sleeping’ roommate.

“Maybe he’s dead..” Taurtis hummed.

“I hope he’s dead.” Was Grian’s immediate response.

Taurtis sighed, “Same.”

In the end, the two left him there.

6 am. It is 6 am, and Xisuma has been awoken by a message on his comm. Now, it’s very normal for hermits to be awake this early but Xisuma had actually been planning to sleep in! But the gods must hate him. (they do.)

He sat on the sofa, mug of coffee in hand as he opened his comm.

DocM77: Does anyone have a collar? 

What an odd message at 6am.

XisumaVoid: Doc, what do you need a collar for?

DocM77: I got a new dog, need to give it a collar. 

Oh. That was actually very obvious. Why didn’t he think of that?

DocM77: Can you @ everyone please. 

He looked back down at his comm, having gotten distracted.

XisumaVoid: Oh. Yeah sure

XisumaVoid: @everyone

EXCUSE ME? Xisuma spat his coffee out, making a mess everywhere. That was completely unnecessary to add to the conversation!

Something no one knows, not even the hermits, not Scar, not Pearl, not even Mumbo. No one would ever think that Grian could hide a secret from Mumbo, and Grian likes to think that he doesn’t hide anything from Mumbo. Because, it’s not Grians secret. He wants to make sure people know that he is not the same as Xelqua. They are different people. Xelqua was the sad kid who was kicked out of his house, the kid who became part of the mafia. The kid who was an admin, the one who became a Watcher. That is not Grian.

But, laying in bed at night, you can’t stop thoughts from drifting, and sometimes. Only sometimes, he finds himself thinking about Xelqua. The scared child. And, it’s something he won’t ever admit, but deep down, Grian thinks that Xelqua enjoyed being a watcher. Sometimes, at least.

Because, growing up constantly being ignored and abandoned does something to a boy you know? And the watchers? Oh, well they were so kind at the start… When they believed he was one of them. They praised him for everything! Said he was a wonderful learner.. He was their son, their prince.. And he loved it. Because why wouldn’t he? 

Because, despite how cruel they are to others, the watchers love their own. And in that short time that Xelqua was with them? Oh, they adored him. 

…

Until he started rebelling and found out the truth about them, and they said he killed his friends and.. Well, you know.

So yes, Grian does think Xelqua enjoyed being a watcher for a short amount of time. But if anyone ever asks, Grian hated it. Because, it’s not Grians place to share how Xelqua felt. Xelqua, the forever teenage boy, who Grian swears will make sure his name is never tarnished.

Not because they're the same person. But because, to Grian, Xelqua is his innocence and youth. And he will not allow that to be ruined.

The hermits had been in a meeting for the past couple hours, and, fortunately it was ending soon. They had all said what was necessary and everyone knew what was going on.

“Alright then,” Xisuma spoke up, making everyone quiet down, “I’d say if no one has anything to add then this meeting is over-”

THUMP.

Everyone looked around for a minute. “Ah, Grian? Are you doing okay over there.?” Xisuma called out from across the table. The avian himself was crouched on the floor, desperately trying to shovel items back into his pockets before anyone took notice, “Grian, what have you got there?”. Unfortunately, many people had noticed. 

He popped his head up nervously, looking around at everyone before locking eyes with Xisuma. Yeah, he wasn’t getting out of this one. Slowly he placed his belongings on the table. Three Sandwiches, A couple TNT’s and a bag of redstone. 

No one spoke for the first couple minutes, all slightly shocked. Not because he had TNT, that was a future issue. But where did he pull all this from? “Ah… Okay. Lovely collection Gri, want to share why you brought this to the  meeting?”

“No, not really.” He responded, perched on the back of his chair, wings spread for balance, although he spoke after a glare from X. “Alright. So, today I learned that hoodie pockets are really good– especially if your inventory is full– I could fit three sandwiches, TNT and redstone in there!.” 

“Okay, but why.?”

“The sandwiches were for if I got hungry and wanted options, I always have gunpowder on me– in case Mumbo needs it or something, I don’t use it– Oh! And Scar gave me TNT before the meeting started!”

Scar, who was guiltily looking at the floor, trying not to make eye contact.

Doc: A motor- a motorcycle?

YHS!Sam: Oh sorry, a murder.

YHS!Grian: That escalated quickly.

Sam had left the house half an hour ago, and Xisuma, Doc, Pearl and Gem had been left at the apartment with the two other teenagers, Grian and Taurtis. Who are refusing to talk to anyone but Pearl. Because Grian is smart enough to know Pearl is his sister. Even if she seems older right now, and Taurtis doesn’t know anyone but Grian. 

The door burst open and Sam ran in, immediately slamming it shut. There was a knife shoved in his back pocket and his hands were dripping with a red liquid, which had also stained his shirt. “Woah- kid. Are you Good?” Doc asked, using simple english. They had learnt that the teens didn’t know much english. Even Grian was more fluent in Japanese.

“There was a… a motor close to where I was just before.” He responded, making his way over to the kitchen to wash his hands. Grian and Taurtis were the only ones not worried.

“A motor- a motorcycle?” Doc was so confused. Had the kid been hit by a motorbike?

Sam paused, before correcting himself. “Oh sorry, a murder.” 

This did not make Doc or any of the adults feel better. All yelling, asking what had happened, was Sam injured? Was anyone injured? Why was Sam covered in blood?

Grian leaned against Taurtis who swung his arms around his shoulders, pulling the blonde closer. “Well, that escalated quickly.”

There's a reason that the hermits don’t actually visit the main hub very often, they are way too used to being on Hermitcraft and are much too careless. 

In Bdub’s and Impulse’s defence, the plan had been to just go for a quick look around the markets and then head home! But, whatever God was watching them seemed to have much different plans for the two as they were standing on the side of the road being arrested. They didn’t do anything! .. Impulse didn’t do anything!

“Bdubs, hurry up!” Impulse called back, pulling his hood up to shield his face from the rain. “Stop staring at the clocks!” It had begun raining around 5 minutes ago, and personally, Impulse didn’t want to catch a cold. Y’know, megabass to build and stuff. 

The shorter man spun around, running down the street towards Impulse, “Sorry, sorry! But they look so fancy!” He had caught up, and was now walking backwards in front of Impulse, so they could talk, “Don’t you think they would look great in my base?” 

“Yeah sure- BDUBS WATCH OUT!” Impulse was forced to watch as Bdubs spun around and ran forwards… into incoming traffic. Surprisingly, he walked out unscathed. Unsurprisingly, he did cause multiple car crashes and one car was in flames.

The cops had been called almost immediately, and not soon after the two were being interrogated in an alley. And both knew that Xisuma would kill them if they got arrested. 

“So, what are your names?” The cop pulled out his notebook and pen, staring at the expectantly. Not like they were dumb enough to tell him their own names. “Don’t tell him Impulse.” Bdubs whispered, leaning against the wall, oblivious to the glare Impulse had just given him. 

“Im..pulse.. And you?” The cop copied down, and then looked back up. Bdubs paled, realising he had accidentally given the Cop Impulse’s name “Crap.” Impulse huffed, crossing his arms, “yea, great going Bdubs.” He complained. 

The three went silent, as all that could be heard was the Cop’s pen writing. 

“Oh.” 

“RUN FOR IT!” Bdubs screamed, and spun around running out of the alley, and into more traffic. And then he kept running. “Ah.. screw it.” Impulse snatched the notebook out of the cops hand and followed after Bdubs.

Doc: Oh, of course, the old “something something something we win”. That’s a terrible plan!

Grian goes by Xelqua and also looks diff to hermitcraft G so they don’t recognise it as younger Grian.

Look, Doc had tried so hard to be polite to these people, for a week. But he didn’t trust any of them. Actually, that’s a lie. He trusted Pearl, Martyn and Jimmy. But the rest of ‘em? NAH. And, after they had gotten imprisoned by the watchers, Doc was on his last screw.

Xelqua was currently consoling Jimmy, telling him it would all be fine and they’d be okay. Doc was having none of it. After ten minutes of Xelqua seemingly lying to Jimmy, Doc had enough. “Do you even have a plan!?” He snapped.

Xelqua, shocked, turned to look at the man. Sending a glare of, ‘you're not helping, shut up.’ “Of course I do! I break us out, chaos, destruction, something something something, we win!” He snapped back, obviously just as fed up with Doc’s attitude. “You know, the usual.”

Honestly, dude had shown up on HIS server, shown him so much disrespect, and Xelqua literally had done nothing to him! He had given Doc so much kindness! But he only wanted to be around Pearl, Jimmy and Martyn. And Firstly, they are his siblings, and secondly, Pearl and Martyn had told Xelqua to send him to the void the second Doc has spawned. But noooo. Xelqua’s the one who gets the attitude.

“Oh of course. The old ‘something, something, something, we win.’” He snarked, sarcasm obvious. “That’s a terrible plan!”

Xelqua stood up, walking over to Doc, “Well I don’t see you giving any Brilliant ideas! So Shut it!”

Jimmy: So, everyone, what does a story NEED?

Grian: A character! Martyn: A setting! Pearl, a gleam in their eyes, in a near-whisperL REVENGE.

Jimmy’s whole class had been told by their English teacher that he had to go home and explain what made a good story to his family. For homework. And whilst most kids weren’t going to do it, Jimmy was DEFINITELY going to do it. What if the teacher asked his siblings? And they would totally rat him out. 

Anyway, Jimmy had forced all 3 of his siblings to sit in the front room and listen to him. Grian, 16, had zoned out ages ago and was just tapping his knuckles on the table. Martyn, 19, did not want to be there as he wasn’t even in school anymore, but Jimmy had threatened to cry. So. Pearl, 13, was apparently loving it.

Jimmy, 12, had been ranting about what a story needed for the past hour. And finally decided to test if his siblings had been listening. “So, can any of you tell me what a good story NEEDS?”He hummed, waving his hands around dramatically. After no one responded, he picked on the first one he saw, which unfortunately was- “Grian, you go first!”

Grian, realising he had been called upon, shot his head up, after a couple of seconds and processing the question he responded, “Ah. Characters?”

“Yes, Very good! Martyn?”

Martyn, as quick as always, had been listening the whole time, “A setting.”

Jimmy smiled, happy that at least one of his siblings was listening to him. “Ah, see it’s not that hard guys! Now, pearl-” Jimmy’s sentence stopped as he stared at the girl. “Pearl.?”

The young girl was smiling like she was on a sugar high, crouched over her paper as she doodled down what seemed to be a character plan, completely unaware of what was happening around her. “Peeaarrlll! Were you listening to me?” Jimmy complained, yelling at her.

She looked up at the yell, “Of course I was listening!”After a couple seconds, after realising they were probably waiting for her to respond to Jimmy’s earlier question. Which she had not heard, she added. “What was the question again?” 

Jimmy sighed sadly, “What does a good story need?” The girl responded immediately with no hesitation, “Oh, obviously every good story needs some REVENGE!”She giggled madly to herself. Oh yea, they definitely needed to get their sister checked out for.. Something. No way she was completely sane in that head of hers.

After a few minutes of silence Martyn stood up, “-Right, Well I think that’s enough for one day. Jimmy, we will tell your teacher you did the homework.”He patted the boy on the head as he left the room.

Ok, so i have decided that for this one-shot im swapping his name situation. Xelqua is his birth name, Grian is his witness protection name that he doesn't get till later.

Xisuma had been in the past for around a week now? And it wasn’t that bad, honestly. The worst thing had been getting used to the way everything used to be. 

He was living in some small house with three teenagers, Taurtis, Sam, and Xelqua. Sam is the one who let him stay at their house. Which Xisuma admittedly did find a bit weird, but the other two didn’t look stressed, so he just went with it.

Currently, he is alone in the house with Xelqua, a young teen; he thinks the boy is around 16. He has fluffy wings that are obviously too large for him, and Xisuma thinks he is adorable! ANYWAY! The other two had rushed out of the apartment an hour ago, claiming it was'school-related’ although it definitely looked like Sam had a knife in his back pocket. 

Whatever, Xisuma was sitting on the sofa watching some David Attenborough documentary about bugs and whatnot. Xelqua had just been wandering around the house, doing random chores, so Xisuma didn’t notice when he turned around and the boy was leaning on the back of the sofa, deeply invested in the current segment about bees. 

The boy sighed, “I wish I could control bees and wasps so I could make them sting my enemies..” The comment itself made Xisuma extremely confused, mostly because Xelqua looked so serious. Xisuma just smiled, offering the boy a comforting pat on the shoulder. “You’re too young to have any proper enemies.”

Xelqua just mumbled something inaudible, folding over the sofa. “Pardon.?” Xisuma smiled.

“You don’t even know the start of it.” The boy repeated, sinking his head into the pillows.

Kidnapper: I have your partner.

YHS!Sam: What? I don't have a partner...

Kidnapper: Then who just called me a lowlife bitch and spit in my face?

YHS!Sam: Oh my god, you have YHS!Grian.

Grian had been missing all morning, which happens a lot. But this time Sam had nothing to do with it, so he admits he is worried. ONLY A LITTLE BIT THOUGH.

The last time he was seen was when they all got home from the party last night, and Grian decided to sleep on the couch, and then everyone went to sleep, blah, blah, blah. Sam woke up this morning to Taurtis running around the house, apparently checking everywhere for Grian. Literally everywhere, like no-Taurtis, Grian is not in the fridge????

So, Grian had disappeared—like stated before, not unusual—so Taurtis didn’t panic until Sam had admitted he had nothing to do with it. Because, oh my god, his unofficial boyfriend has been kidnapped!?

Anyway, they, uh. Stopped looking after an hour or two. Sam did anyway, went to play games. Taurtis joined the games but kept looking like he was about to burst into tears. Was Sam not good enough for him?

**Ring Ring.**

Ah, Sam’s phone and that annoying ringtone. He stumbled off the couch, grabbing the phone and clicking the answer button. “Hello, this is Sam Gladiator.” He repeated the usual pick-up response only to be met with a scratchy, creepy voice. “I have your partner.”

He had to pause to think. Sookie? No, he never actually dated her. Invader? No, they broke up. Yuki? Mm… maybe. Wait- no. She's like dead or whatever. “Hello?” The scratchy voice questioned, obviously confused at the silence. 

“Oh, sorry, no, I don’t have a partner.” Sam responded simply, thinking it was a prank call and about to hang up. “Wait- what? Then who do I have tied up here who just called me a lowlife bitch and spat in my face?” 

“Oh.” It clicked; that's where Grian is; he’s been kidnapped. “No, no, you have Grian. That’s Taurtis’s partner.” Taurtis, hearing his name and Grian’s name in the same sentence, perked up. “Have they got Grian?”

Sam hung up the phone and then called some ‘friends.’ Obviously, they had to go rescue Grian. Taurtis would never forgive him if he didn’t.

The last thing he remembers is getting home and passing out. So can someone tell him why he’s woken up in a warehouse, bound up and with the worst hangover ever? What do you mean you’ve kidnapped me? No, no, that is not okay. Yes, I will spit at you. Hey, no, don’t cover my mouth!

Xelqua skipped, I repeat. He Skipped into the room. He seemed very happy, entering their small room, a paper rolled up in his hand.
