I ended up getting a browser extension to bypass ad fly.

Yeah I got that too, it’s still super annoying. Especially because I just ran into a person that used ad.fly and the website they uploaded it to made you wait for 90 seconds before you can download it....... and apparently before you download something else from that website you have to wait 10 minutes.... like excuse me? Do you really want people to dislike you that much?

I have all expansion and accessoires packs, so they are required. 

I have the CustomPostEffect mod as well as the roofshader and white roof trim default. If you don’t have these mods, it will look different in your game. They will not be included in the download. 

I have recolorable stairs in my game, but I did not use any recolors. By installing with the CleanInstaller, the stairs will be marked as hacks. Simply untick the boxes and they will not be installed to your game. 

Download (SFS)  While I was at it, I also packed another no CC lot. Everything above goes for this house too (except the stairs).

However if you place a car there, I think your sims may still be able to drive (just without pulling-out-of-the-driveway-animation. Don’t quote me on that though.) Thanks to @polly-poison there is this tip: “without a driveway sims can’t come back to the lot. for such houses i use the smaller driveway (the extension of the bigger one) with an invisible recolor and place it with moveobjects on.” Download (SFS) Enjoy! :)

I’m playing a Legacy on TS4 and my sim decided to...

Good (?) to hear this legacy curse is alive and well in ts4. Do they at least have a house yet? Cuz I feel like it’s always twins with the legacies where the founder is still living in a tiny shack and most of their stuff is outside on the lawn. :P

See for yourself here :D This has been by far the most stressful sim week I’ve had in a while. Now their “house” looks like this (sorry for the crappy shots, I didn’t think I would be sharing them here). I want to build them a cute lil trailer. The mom is a community worker with the cause for “Simoleons for everyone” (guess why) and the dad is currently working as a low budget musician. xD I feel like legacies, or more like toddlers, are harder in Ts4, because of how many things you can do with them. And they make a mess EVERYWHERE. The parents were complaining about how unclean it was basically all week. Haha

Hi! I would like to know more about the Sims community. :) To break the ice, what’s your gender, how old are you & how did you get into The Sims? You don’t have to answer the first questions if you don’t want to! :) (10 questions after the shortcut)

When did you start playing Sims? 

Have you been playing consistently or do you have breaks inbetween?

Do your family & friends know that you play The Sims?

Do you spend more time in build or live mode? Why? 

Do you play with supernatural creatures (like Vampires, Werewolves etc.)?  Why not?

Do you have one specific family you play with all the time (like a legacy of some sort) or do you rotate between a couple of households?

Help!

So I haven’t played Sims 2 in a while (almost a year). I still had my old folder with neighborhoods & downloads though. When I reinstalled my TS2UC copy & exchanged the The Sims 2 folder in Documents with my old one, obviously everything was still the same. But now I’m having difficulties with 2 mods.

Voeille Water Pond Mod & Pineapple 5050 CustomPostEffect Mod

I know that Pineapple5050 uploaded a mod with their CPM & other mods that have altered the shaders and made them compatible. Problem is, I don’t remember how I installed Pineapple5050′s mod & the Japanese on their page with a few English words here & there really doesn’t help me. 

I would like to fix this since my pond & neighborhood water is black from the neighborhood view (I changed Graphicsrules.sgr already & have used the boolprop useShaders true cheat, I have reflections on, I placed pool tiles all over the lot, but nothing helped; I know that at some point it worked for me, so my graphics card is not the issue). So it must be the mod itself, right? How do I install it properly? I’m at a loss ;-;

I got Sims 2 up & running on my computer again with my whole old folder, so have this house I built today with my rusty building skills. I hope there is more to follow, but I really can’t promise anything.
