The Hydra Cluster of Galaxies Image Credit & Copyright: Rafael Sampaio
Explanation: Within our own Milky Way galaxy, two bright, spiky stars stand like sentinels in the foreground of this cosmic snapshot. Far beyond them are the galaxies of the Hydra Cluster. In fact, while the spiky foreground stars are hundreds of light-years distant, the Hydra Cluster galaxies are well over 100 million light-years away. Three large galaxies near the cluster center, two yellow ellipticals (NGC 3311, NGC 3309) and one prominent blue spiral (NGC 3312), are the dominant galaxies, each about 150,000 light-years in diameter. An intriguing overlapping galaxy pair cataloged as NGC 3314 lies above and left of NGC 3312. Also known as Abell 1060, the Hydra galaxy cluster is one of three large galaxy clusters within 200 million light-years of the Milky Way. In the nearby universe, galaxies are gravitationally bound into clusters which themselves are loosely bound into superclusters. Superclusters in turn are seen to align over even larger scales.

Once in a Blue Moon l AJ Smadi
June 4 — The Moon is doing most of the talking this week, which means it’s a week where we’re more attuned to our needs and wants. The Moon is how we feed and care for ourselves and how we want to be taken care of in kind. That said, the Moon’s in intellectual and visionary Aquarius into Saturday, a sign that naturally attunes us to needs and wants of the world. Aquarius is not personal; it’s collective. As a result, it’s not about us the next couple of days; it’s about others. Use this energy to open your awareness to the world or even issues within your community. Spend time with friends. Take action towards a social issue or cause.

it's ok to feel like a bit of a loner today or to go into mad scientist mode. you don't have to do experiments in a lab, you can do them on your life.

🚨 NASA just moved a major space telescope launch up by 8 months.
The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is now targeting August 30, 2026 — and the mission is entering its final launch preparations.
Why are astronomers paying attention?
Because Roman could discover thousands of new worlds, uncover hidden black holes, and help solve the mystery of dark energy.
Most headlines are only mentioning the date change.
The details NASA revealed today are much more interesting.

NASA's June 3, 2026 update sets Roman's launch date to Aug. 30, 2026. What changed, key milestones, and what observers should track next.
pluto generations
obviously we know about delineations like millenial/gen z/whatever, and these classifications can be useful, but in my own head when i don't have to make sense to other people and such categories arise i don't ever think about them this way, do you?
i do classify people in pluto generations though... "oh, you wouldn't remember that, your pluto is in sagittarius." or "she's too old to understand that, her pluto is in virgo."
for the most recent generations this lines up REALLY nicely; millenials are scorpio, z is sagittarius, alpha is capricorn. with gen x it's a little blurrier due to pluto's odd orbit, they are libra but also maybe some virgo. the boomers of course are leo plutos but may encompass some cancer and virgo as well.
then there is a little bit of a lack of clarity due to retrogrades; now and then a sag-pluto is older than a scorp-pluto for example. but my experience so far with this the scorp will identify a little more with the millennials even if they are younger and the sag a little more with gen z.

Respect Your Emotional Intelligence
Thursday - June 4, 2026
Have you noticed that many people are you are losing their emotional sh*t, but you're doing good. We're all looking at the same chaotic stuff going on, but they're all over the place while you maintain emotional consistency.
I spoke to a client about this recently, and she even commented that she felt "guilty" that she was handling things and others around her weren't.
If you are feeling this way - guilty because you've got your emotional sh*t together - DO NOT. So say the Nodes that today will move to 2° Pisces and Virgo.
2° represents the I FEEL state of awareness, and is ruled by the Moon and Cancer. While the Nodes have traveled in Pisces and Virgo we've been asked to release a lot of sh*t in order to live by a set of higher principles.
You've done that work; others have not. This isn't a judgement to say they are bad or lazy people. It's merely to point out an energetic difference; you have a greater degree of peace because you've aligned to a higher principle, moral or ethic, or your faith. They have not, and their choice makes them unable to navigate chaos in the way you can.
The Nodes will be at 2° until June 17th. Until then give yourself credit for the emotional work you've done, and hold space for your friends, family and colleagues who are still in that process.
