Parasite ( 2019 ) dir. Bong Joon-ho

I could talk about this movie for hours, with 1917 it’s my favorite movie of this years award season. I really hope it will bring home the oscar tonight

1917 ( 2019 ) dir. Sam Mendes

I have been in love with this movie since the trailer and since I found out it was filmed in one shot! I love this kinda of takes and I was so curious of see what a war movie would look like with this technique. 

The movie is based on the stories about World War I that Sam Mendes ( the director ) used to hear from his grandfather, Alfred H. Mendes. The story follow two British soldiers, William Schofield and Tom Blake, who are designate to deliver an urgent message to Colonel Mackenzie who’s leading another battalion. This is kinda a suicide mission because they will have to cross though enemy territory but if they don’t do it, and if this message is not delivered in time, a lot of soldiers will die.

I loved this movie and I found really interesting that they choose to film it in one shot, I think in this way we can create a stronger bond (?) with the characters and feel part of the story ( this means that you can also empathize more with what they are going through ). I cried almost three times, I have to admit that, and I think you all need to see this little masterpiece. 

I hope it’ll bring home at least one oscar, what can I say... fingers crossed !

Forever Rain - RM 

I was looking at the winter package’s photos and I thought this one of rm was perfect for a little page dedicated to “ forever rain “. I really love this song, I think all his mixtape “ mono “ is amazing indeed I listen to it almost everyday! so if you didn’t check it out yet you should do it. I know this page could be better but it’s the first time that I do something like that and I’m quite proud of it, I know next time will look better 💖
