The first week I got a call from my trainer and I was not very excited for the pain I was about to feel but he was certainly excited to begin. I knew the next 3 weeks was going to be complicated learning how to balance diet, children, work and the new gym schedule. On my first visit to Max Out Gym I was nervous but Neil and Nila greeted me with a smile and they were eager to show me where my transformation was going to begin. I was impressed by the all the different types of equipment, the cleanliness, the artificial turf, and the endless pool at the gym. The trainers didn't waste any time in talking to me about and planning my diet. I knew I had to start by cooking and planning my meals better every day so I went to complete nutrition to weigh in (which was 183) pick up the meal luggage, my refirm and my smart smoothie. The first week was rough trying to find a balance between eating right and eating enough and cutting out starbucks while trying to avoid getting sick, passing out, and getting my head caught in the machines. I have learned now to eat and apple or a pear right before I work to give me that extra boost of sugar before I begin. I visited the gym 4 times the first week and made my rounds between Neil, Nila, Ray, and Quentin. My workouts consisted of the endless pool, kettle weights, woodway treadmill, sleds, ropes, and free weights. Each trainer definitely pushed me to my limits by the end of the session and somehow I kept returning for more. The first weekend was interesting; I had to travel for work and had to eat out that first night. I couldn’t find anything on the menu so I called Nila and she was right there to help me and give me advice on what to eat. I want to thank Complete Nutrition, Max Out Gym, my trainers, and Mellissa who took great care of me at the gym my first week and give me encouragement and great advice every time I visited. Week 1 weight in was a success, great results seen, Look out week 2 here I come!!!
