Zoerumi who are poly and zoey is currently actively dating mira. She keeps trying to set something up because shes Convinced this could be a trio situation. Rumi meanwhile is just out of residency and has negative time away from the er to do jack All and she loves zoey very much but baby please i want to eat and slam face first into your stomach on our couch. Mira thinks rumi just hates her or the idea of her.
Meanwhile mira snaps her collar bone doing something stupid ends up in the er and rumi not only bolts into the room to point at her spiderman style she also says (loudly in a very crowded er after she harassed her coworker into handing over the case) “YOURE MY WIFES GIRLFRIEND” and ends up dragged into an HR and patient satisfaction meeting. Zoey laughs so hard about this she almost pukes.
okay so zoey grew up very middle class compared to mira and rumi this is already well established
now i imagine when theyre on tour, huntrix tends to stay in the nicest hotels possible, and that means theyre constantly seeing rich people architecture shit that makes zoey go “wtf is this”
im talking those sinks that like droop down from the ceiling or those extraordinarily over complicated showers
and she starts making a series of videos whenever theyre on the road called “Dumbass Rich People Shit” where she reviews the different features she finds ridiculous from the various hotels theyre staying in and rates them out of 10 based on how useless they are, 10 being “actually this shits kinda fire and it works just fine” and 1 being “how the fuck am i supposed to wash my hands after taking a shit”
and then at the end theres a section called “How the Pros Do It” where she shows rumi and/or mira using these various features like its nothing.
her most famous video is one where during the pros section mira is going over how one of the overcomplicated showers works and zoey off camera is like “okay but can we get a demonstration of it in action?”
and mira says “sure but only if you turn the camera off”
cut to zoey doing her outro for the video, her hair completely damp, clothes on backwards, a couple of obvious hickeys on her throat
rumi in the comments: you two are why we cant have nice things
mira: shes just mad she wasnt there to help with the demonstration
Actually thought about this more and I think it might actually be an interesting chatacter study to do if Third does show up, is trying to be the cool and fun parent fine with Rumi's patterns, criticizing Celine's parenting choices;
And Celine is just having none of it because like excuse me, where was this cool and fun and totally fine with patterns person back when she was needed? Where was she for the last 25 years? How dare she show up when she's not actually needed anymore, does she know how badly they both needed her in the early days?
(And of course Third knows that. She's watched every interview Celine did after, knows how Celine sounds when she's regular tired vs. injuried by demons tired.)
She left because got to be too much between Miyeong dying and Rumi and she fooled herself into believing that Celine would be fine because Celine was their rock and she's always fine.
And god, she knew she had made a mistake after the first month but she's always been stubborn and avoidant and so she just... didn't come back. Didn't try to fix the biggest mistake of her life. (Zoey, feeling herself get stabbed)
Tried to convince herself that this was for the best, that Celine didn't need her and Rumi didn't need her (that she hadn't actually made a mistake at all actually)
And when she found out about everything that happened well, the pretty little lie she'd built for herself crumbled.
(I should have been there, I should have helped turns into you should have done better, I could have done better so easily doesn't it?)

Mindreader mira au.
The honmoon realizing it's in danger due to Rumi and Zoey of hiding massive secrets that could tear everyone apart if left unhandeled or handeled wrong decides to give Mira the ablity to read minds.
Mira struggles at first but eventually gets the hang of it and reads Rumi's mind finding out she's a half demon but also hears every bit of fear, self loathing, anxiety and thoughts of how she's a mistake, the intensity and speed at which Rumi thinks all of it threatens to make Mira's knees give out and let out a cry seeing the pain Rumi is in.
Zoye on the other hand, well her thoughts are filled with how much she loves the other two and how she wants both of them, yet there is aguilt there, of how she takes glanzes at them and tries to touch them subtly, which makes Mira realize what Zoye ws trying to do last week when she said Mira had something on her skirt.
Now Mira has to slowly navigate getting Rumi more comfortable so she doesn't panic when Mira tells her she knows what she is and trying to make Zoye's dream of polytrix come true.
BONUS
Rumi is on the spectrum and has a hyperfixation (something not typical for an idol to like example trains) and keeps it a secret seeing it as shameful.
One day Mira buys a model steam train and puts it on the livingroom table waiting for Rumi to come back, when she does she immediately panics internally until mira mentions she saw it in store on the way home and thought Zoye might like it.
Mira: look it's even got a tun... ter...umm
Rumi: a tender (internally screaming why did i say it.)
Mira: oh yeah thanks. [Gives rumi headpats] (Rumi's demon side is really cat like.)
I know we sometimes portray Celine drinking or getting drunk at some point during Rumi's childhood, be it just a little glass of wine or two or just full on alcoholic but I raise you:
Celine doesn't take a sip of alcohol until AFTER Rumi and the girls move into the Huntrix Tower.
She's too paranoid to be anything but completely coherent when she's raising Rumi even when she and the girls are perfectly capable of holding their own.
Once they're gone though?
Celine is ON the kitchen counter, bottle of wine in her hand, no glass or cup in sight, ugly crying as she sings 'Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone' at the top of her lungs, words slurring and heart just full on shattered.
It's missing Mi-yeong hours and the heart ache is doubled with the absence of her not-daughter and her not-yet-girlfriends that she also thinks of as not-daughters that she misses so much and it's too quiet without their loud laughter and bickering and pranks and obnoxious gremlin antics and their not subtle sneaking out and *inconsolable sobbing*
Have we considered Rumi being incredibly aware that her friendships with Zoey and Mira edge super close into being romantic but always making sure to keep that boundary because she can’t date anyone with her patterns, then her patterns aren’t an issue and she’s soooo excited to finally join in Zoey and Mira’s relationship.
But. Zoey and Mira have no idea what’s she’s talking about.
Rumi is all like; Girls!! We can finally all date now!! I’m sorry that my issues kept me from joining you guys in your relationship and stuff but—-
Zoey, having been harboring huge crushes on Rumi and Mira the second she saw them; what. What are you talking about. And why are you saying that so casually????
