To be clear about my last post, I don't think it's inherently evil for people to be curious about serial killers and cults and true crime. I just think that if you want to research that kinda thing, you need to be especially critical about the resources you use, the media you consume, and the ways people capitalize on tragedy and deny victims agency and personhood.

Get a library card and some basic human decency, is all I'm saying, and maybe have the common sense necessary to not support YouTubers who wanna, like, make a JonBenét Ramsey themed eyeshadow palette.
