Sorry to bother you but I was scrolling through your posts and I thought I should ask, do you know of any good sources on the term comphet? From what I’ve read compulsive heterosexuality is a different term from comphet because they’re all-inclusive and lesbian-exclusive respectively but no one seems to agree and I can’t find anything on it other than a wikipedia article and blog posts that I have no idea the credibility of. /gen

hi! sorry for the late response i’m not very active on here. my definition of comphet probably differs from those you see on lgbtq+ wikis and whatnot. i’ll link the lesbian masterdoc, that’s where i originally found out i don’t like men.

as for the different terms, comphet/compulsive heterosexuality is lesbian exclusive because of the nature of wanting to be attracted to men, hence why it’s compulsive. (mainly because of wanting to fit in to societal norms) i’m also 77% sure the term for gay(sexuality not umbrella term) people would be heteronormativity but i could be wrong and if anyone has any insight on that feel free to correct me.

and you know what’s funnier? my next thought after i posted that was to rewatch fairy tail, again.

in episode three of season one of Minecraft diaries, zenix is talking about how if aphmau continues to help villages the way she does she will be seen as a lord and the world will start “moving in ways it normally should not.” i know this was meant to hint towards villagers gaining sentience but what if it was also a hint to how aphmau’s character suddenly became “self aware” or non-dependant on jess as a player.

i know this is a reach but i like the idea of it

like jess and aphmau act very differently.

jess playing aphmau never would have left garroth in the irene dimension because she knew she could just respawn

character aphmau would have not known about respawning and therefore thought she was mortal. notice how character aphmau takes more risks after learning of her powers.

ik it might not be canon but it’s cool to think about
