It was absolutely not a small majority. 245 million Americans were voting eligible in 2024. 75 million Americans voted for Kamala Harris.

I know Americans especially tend to love the myth of "I didn't pull the lever for Trump so I didn't contribute." - the facts are that everyone who didn't vote Harris contributed to the election of Donald Trump. 170 million people vs 75. That seems an overwhelming majority. Sure some couldn't vote for personal reasons - health, work, etc. - but the delta between 170 and 75 is vast, man.

But you don't even have to go there: studies show that non voters also skewed Trump: "Pew asked non-voters how they would have voted and found they would have broken for Trump, 44%-40%." That would increase the distance between Trump and Harris too.

I think at some point you gotta look at Trump getting REelected and look at your fellow Americans and draw your conclusions.
