hello! for your graphic design prints on your website, how are they manufactured into actual posters?
im working towards making my own prints, but I'm stuck on how to actually turn them into physical posters!
hii! i don't know if my way is conventional because most small businesses do own a printer and paper as it would be the most cost efficient thing to do. but because of the inconsistent and small number of orders i usually receive (which is like maybe once every few months if i'm lucky), to me personally, i don't think the cost of investing in a printer would be worth it.
in singapore, printing services are fortunately readily available so i would choose a shop that i believe is reliable and consistent in their quality and place an order with them through their website, there's usually instructions on how to format your artwork on the website itself to avoid any printing errors.
i usually check the price and the material they use, it would be around $13+ (SGD) for 1 A2 size poster. the paper i choose would be the pp poster paper (it is basically a 180gsm yupo paper with matt lamination and its waterproof) which is great because it's not as fragile and you can be at peace as you mail it off. after the order is placed you can request that they deliver it to your house (which would cost more due to delivery fees, don't do this unless you really cannot collect the posters yourself, the price is really not worth it) or pick it up yourself at the physical store. after that you just pack them in a poster tube or an envelope and send it off through a mailing service of your choosing.

it honestly comes down to whether you are willing to drop money on a good printer. the only thing i know is that i've heard good things about the epson ecotank printer, as many small art businesses use them to sell art prints. it is costly but if you are confident in your business and are willing to make the investment, it would be better in the long run esp if you have a lot of customers :)!
