Would you guys read a cringe fanfiction on this AU I made? (+ Theory) [SPOILERS AHEAD]

Okay, so while I haven't seen Dragon's rising, I've been heavily spoiled (only reason I haven't is because my little brother is watching Masters of Spinjitzu and I want to watch DR with him, he's on S8 last I checked for ref). This is going to be a bunch of yapping because none of my friends are as into it as I am (from my awareness) so I will send it out to people who might like it, aka Tumblr users LOL

(Spoilers below if you haven't religiously watched up to DR Season 3 finale and the trailers/clips for S4. Please click away if that isn't something you want to deal with. Yes, this is me making sure everything is under the read more thing because I'm going to cry if someone got spoiled because of me(/j))

I: Theory and bit of a ramble

I especially had to look at something (yes, I spoil it for myself because you know how long it's been since DR started? I'm just used to it atp lmao) because I heard Jillian Michaels was coming back and I got VERY EXCITED for that and can't wait to watch this part of the series with my brother. Something that came up though, as yes I am active online and accept I will get spoiled, was the idea there were several other green ninja that Lloyd knew nothing about (as well as their roles) and because I am highly imaginative and am literally dying to see these seasons with my brother, I decided to think about the possibility just to see if I would get it right later. Just for funsies of course! If I'm wrong, it's whatever but uh- let's go :D My thoughts mainly tied back to the fact Lloyd is master of life, which was technically confirmed back in the movie but was reiterated later down the line, like... 8 years or so. Which yes makes me feel VERY old and I am only turning twenty sobs

As we know, elemental powers pass down through to the next generation or next viable user of the element. Normally, from what we've seen, power passes down to your descendant. From Benton, to Lilly, to Cole, all three down the line were masters of earth. Of course, in situations like Hibernus and Morro, they never had someone to pass their power down to, so one sought out a possible new master and the other had his power even in death until destiny finally picked a new master, possibly to not make another treacherous mistake like they did with Morro.

Lloyd has the powers of his grandfather, the first spinjitzu master, as well as the green ninja power, which we can now call the element of life. Where did he get it from and why? Well, funny thing is, we're slowly learning about the Montgomerys (Misako's family). We know her mother sent Lloyd candies in boarding school, and we know Lloyd has a cousin on that side that he wishes would stop bothering him (he's so real for that). Not to mention all the other weird stuff about Misako.

We know she's human, as Lloyd got his human half from her. She has a silver spinjitzu tornado, she managed to beat the son of the first spinjitzu master in his own martial art..? She also said that even when Lloyd was young, she knew he'd be the green ninja. She's an archaeologist and is incredibly knowledgeable. She was always an intriguing character, and I still find it odd she knew the green ninja was Lloyd before Garmadon and Wu. Whacky mother intuition maybe, but I think there's something else going on.

The Ninajgo Movie is in the same boat with the shows as the books and movies are to the FNaF franchise, not quite canon but there are certain things that still line up with the show. The ninjas still fight the ultimate evil of their world (Garmadon), just behind the mask, concealing their secret identities. Kai is still very clearly a brother figure to Lloyd while also being confident and dependable. Nya is also still very supportive and independent, standing out amongst her peers for not just being the girl of the group. I could go on but I think you see my point already.

Misako (who, for the movieverse I will refer to as Koko) is a mother who works hard to provide for her only son. I see a lot of people say Koko is the better mother, but I think it came down to circumstances. The circumstances between movie and show were very different, with Misako knowing before anyone and Koko not knowing because of Lloyd hiding it in the movie. Koko's only concern was raising Lloyd while Misako was trying to prevent an entire prophecy because her family was on the line. Same woman, different circumstances, so therefore different outcomes.

Something about Koko that I always liked was her warrior persona, "the Lady Iron Dragon", who is someone Movieverse!Nya looked up to. Her and Garmadon met on the battlefield and the romantic tension was thick enough to slice through with the very blades they fought with. Very different because Misako isn't a warrior.

Or is she? I propose to you this: Misako's family are the masters of life and the green ninjas from the past. Her counterpart being a warrior, her participation in the explorers club, her passion of archaeology and her extensive research on a prophecy that Wu didn't even have as much of an understanding. She knew about LLoyd's destiny before anyone and tried to prevent it. Her spinjitzu might even be a sign. People without elemental power can do spinjitzu, but judging by Doubloon and Arin, both using spinjitzu without an elemental power, the default might be a golden color, reminiscent of the first spinjitzu master and his youngest son's, as it would be the purest form (just go with it XD) and Misako's is silver. Could it just be because of the writers choosing silver for her? Yes, but we don't do that in this house B) The idea, while it might not be perfect, would be amazing if executed properly and would make me want to know so much more about Misako's family. With such a (probably) wise and powerful family, no wonder she kicked Wu's butt in spinjitzu aha II: So.. AU?

Do I think this could be canon? Probably not TwT

However I can still make an AU about it. I will probably call it the Montgomery Legacy AU which would go into the family and it's important figures, probably not too much about the green ninja thing but maybe about Misako's childhood and how her father would show her how to fight with some master of life magic sprinkled in because yes.

It's not just about that however because as you might be able to tell, my thoughts get long and complicated if I sit with them for too long. This is sort of a compiling of different, older theories, scrapped ideas and fanon concepts.

First thing to address is the key factor, the glue per se that keeps it all together, Morro. As much as I would love to see him be the cousin who's bothering him, I highly doubt it, but I am bring something similar to the table. There was a theory that circulated a bit around reddit about the idea that Morro was meant to be the green ninja, but that Wu managed to make a mistake by placing down the wrong sword. I think that would be an intentional move from Cloud Kingdom as Morro was getting dangerous and cocky. I absolutely love that theory and full heartedly believe it.

Now does the new possible lore debunk it? Maybe, but here's the thing, we never see Morro's family or learn anything about him except for a scrapped concept; it was supposed to be that Morro was Cole's brother and how that would have went down is currently unknown to me, and why they scrapped it, probably just had better ideas brewing in the pot and I do still love the outcome of S5.

What does that have to do with anything? I'm getting there, I promise, please if you're still reading stick around T-T

Another thing that was (probably) retconned was Jay using wind in the temple of fire if I remember that correctly. He made a funnel of wind to help him move through the volcano. This in fact sparked one of my favorite fanfictions that I cannot find that discussed the idea of Morro instead being related to Jay, and Jay being the master of Storm rather than just lightning (it talked about forbidden elements / figures, examples being the purple ninja, master of storm, master of wild, etc. Please drop link if you can find it sobs)

I loved both concepts so much, and what does a fan do when she has concepts she loves very much? She writes them. And I even have explanations for it.

Lou (Cole's Father), Cliff (Jay's Birth Dad) and Misako all being cousins, sharing their grandparents who would have been the masters of wind and life. Only one great grandchild (Morro) inherited Wind and Misako's end of the bloodline inherited the life aspect and passing it down to Lloyd while the other two, Cole and Jay, inherited their mothers elements.

The cousins were never close, especially not with Cliff, as it's implied he has some problematic traits. Cliff left to be an actor, Lou stayed in his hometown and Misako tended to explore and train herself. Eventually they all had their children and then the series happens.

"Niko, what about Morro, he's much older than the others." I hear you saying, well my friend, that is why I know this would never be canon, however my AU explanation is that Lilly and Lou met when they were very young and fell in love, accidentally causing a pregnancy that neither had the resources for. For the child's sake, they gave Morro to an orphanage where he eventually ran away from and eventually met Wu. When they get older, and they decided they were ready, they finally tried again and now we have Cole.

If you're still somehow here.. would you read something like this ever? Should I waste my time and go back to the roots of fanfiction?

III: TL;DR

If you want to know but decided "I ain't reading allat"

Basically I discussed a theory about the possibility of Misako's family being the masters of life and that's why she knew Lloyd was the green ninja

Then I basically talked about a fanfic idea that was about if Lou (Cole's Dad), Cliff (Jay's bio dad) and Misako were cousins, with granparents that were from the legacies of the masters of wind and life and the idea that Cole and Morro (brothers like in a scrapped S5 concept) were second cousins to Lloyd and Jay, basically ensuing the family shenanigans and Montgomery Family lore

So I found out, like yesterday, that Koko was made with intention of being an entirely different character from Misako. So uhh my argument kind of falls a little flat :,)

So, let's start with how Koko is definitely not related to Misako outside of being Lloyd's mom in an alternate universe. She is a woman who is an ex warrior and an office woman. Misako is a member of the explorers club and an archaeologist. Misako is clearly much older than her and was brunette while Koko is younger and redheaded.

So Koko being a warrior technically means nothing. She is not Misako and her story doesn't pertain to her.

I still, however, still believe in the difference in circumstances. Koko and Misako's stories were not alike in the slightest outside of their motherhood and should not be compared. Very different woman with different circumstances still so I will keep that piece. Misako being aware while Koko remains unaware.

So this means I still haven't the slightest idea of how Garmadon, Wu and Misako meet. Could Misako still have some secrets? Absolutely. However, this little discovery means I haven't any ideas of what it could be like.

I still believe there is something going on pertaining to misako, her story and her role but that part of the argument was not based in fact. Koko is NOT Misako and is intended to be an entirely different character so she cannot be used as a point of reference for Misako Montgomery and her life. :)

Roleslaying with Roman: character art

Hi! I’ve been getting a lot of asks and seeing such sweet comments about what certain characters might’ve looked like — and some of the art that was made but never shared — so I figured it was time to make a master post! Since the show has been canceled and won’t be returning (at least not as Roleslaying), I wanted to share everything here. You can read more below about the original series I’m developing based on my writing for Roleslaying. Most of the artwork was created by @abd-illustrates / @abd-illustrates-art, who was an absolute joy to collaborate with. His talent truly brought this series to life, and I hope you enjoy seeing both his finished pieces and concept art for the project. ---

Joan’s D&D character was Cal (short for Calcifer) — a fire genasi artificer who used their craft to cook up both spicy food and trouble in combat.

Ryker’s design went through quite a few changes — we wanted his look to complement Roman’s while still reflecting his elven heritage through the patterns on his armor. In the story, Ryker is an elf who uses magic to disguise his elven features — just as he once used that same magic to keep Reston hidden from the Bard King’s gaze while Roman grew up there.

The Bard King & Ryker, in their youth:

Ryker and Amadeus (the Bard King) were once married and part of the same adventuring party as Aunt Patty in their youth. When the two decided to start a family, they sought to honor Ryker’s ancestral tradition — receiving a blessing from the fae goddess known as “Mother.”

But the ceremony went terribly wrong. They asked for a blessing upon their soon-to-be-born child — only for twins to be born instead. The fae, ever nurturing yet mischievous, granted her blessing to one child and bound the other with a curse. As a result, Roman was blessed and allowed to live in the mortal world, while his twin, Remus, was claimed by the fae and raised in their realm.

Amadeus, enraged by this cruel twist, sought revenge. Ryker, torn between devotion to his faith and his family, chose to protect the blessed child, while Amadeus turned his fury toward the fae. In his obsession, Amadeus pursued godhood itself, eventually rising as the Bard King. His relentless hunt for “Mother” led him to a lost prince of the fae — Youngblood — whom he took from the goddess and raised within the Bard’s College as a weapon, hoping one day to use Youngblood to reclaim his cursed son and restore his family.

Meanwhile, Ryker raised Roman alone in Reston, keeping the truth of his father’s identity — and the tragedy that separated their family — a closely guarded secret, as well as any tie to his half-elven bloodline.

I: (Late Night)

So fun fact, I just wrestled with a bag of nerd clusters because it tore just high enough that it wasn't open. I'm a little stupid :,)

I fell asleep before finishing this stupid post sobs

So this is all over the place because I'm stuck in my apartment with nothing to do and the existence of background characters intrigue me. The background characters I'm specifically thinking of are the kids Morro trained with in the flashback sequence in Ghost Story (Season 5, maybe episode 2).

There were 5 kids in the first, 4 in the second. My personal headcanon based on how rough he is with the kids in the second sequence is that the kid got hurt so they couldn't train with them that day. There were 3 black/dark haired boys, a brunette girl that wore glasses and a blond kid with freckles that I absolutely adore.

But that is no fun. I like overthinking my favorite cartoon and some of you actually like reading it so that's what we'll do!

Now I know its been discussed a little on Reddit, and my favorite hc is one of them being Dareth, which is honestly really neat, and I can make so much fanon lore just from "Dareth as the kid who only appeared for less than 5 seconds" because I'm just awesome like that (I'm actually probably delulu XD)

None of the others stuck with me as time went on, even if they were fun concepts that should be explored! Just not to my tastes ig aha

Because they're background characters, they will never be elaborated on so as long as it doesn't contradict major canon we can probably make up whatever we want. Which is fun but without reason it just falls flat :/

So I asked myself, why would Wu have a bunch of kids around. I was sadly reminded that Garmadon said to Lloyd in S4 that he was "around Lloyd's age" when he left to train under Master Chen, so I can't be like "their secretly Wu's or Garmadon's children from previous lovers" because I'd feel weird writing that kind of stuff so much. I have one fanfiction idea that involves a teenage parent technically and that's enough for me. My only problem is, who are they? Wu said that he had only one student before, so they're not his students.

Here's where I might sound pretty delulu but its a fun concept so shh.

This is kind of inspired by older fanworks belonging to me and one of my brothers (I have a large family-) from when we were young. So it obviously might sound cringe but I think its fun. (Credits to bro, his blog is @radserialkiller, he's been there in some of my cringiest moments and he's my bestie :3)

Basically, Misako (like myself aha) comes from a larger family, being the oldest most likely. Wu offered his help in taking care of them because of how busy she was and the kids were happy to get to do this. Wu did end up teaching them things per request of the children.

"But what about Dareth? You said you think he's the fifth kid?"

It honestly can be as simple as the kids' friend who tagged along. Trust, I've been thinking about this fan concept for like weeks bro I'm probably a tweaker.

(It's going to be real interesting back reading the mix of semi proper and things like "tweaker", epitome of Tumblr for you ig lol)

The reason I like the idea so much is because it really shows how much Wu cared for Misako. Clearly, Wu's letter (that Garmadon stole) was pretty moving to Misako. He really loved her, so it wouldn't be too out of character, right?

Now think of this little narrative:

Wu babysitting his crush's little brothers and sister and their little friend, showing them some things here or there because "eventually they'll need to protect themselves"

Then he meets Morro, a kid who needed a place to stay. He let's Morro stay, putting him to a similar standard of "you're going to need to know how to protect yourself" at a higher level compared to the other children. When Morro is told he could be the green ninja, he got ruthless. The friend stopped coming after he got seriously hurt but it didn't stop Morro. The kids weren't stupid, something happened with him and they want to know.

The blond kid, the oldest of the four, heard what happened in the room with Wu the day Morro ran off and told the others. They ran away with Morro, leaving everyone distraught. Wu waited for Morro and did what he could to aid the search. Did they find anyone? That's later me's decision lol. I could honestly draw this version of Misako's family later-

So I am the time traveller/j

But basically my narrative idea is

The blind and the girl are twins, oldest of the group of children.

Morro and Bowlcut kid are around the same age

Dareth and Spiky haired Kid next

Dareth stopped training with them but ended up making his own dojo

Morro and Spiky haired kid both died (the younger one ends up being ghost ninja from season 5)

Twins go missing (might elaborate) but are found later

And Bowlcut kid is found after everything but is silent

Now on the actual subject at hand! This post most realistically only contains spoilers for anything up to Ninjago: MoS Season 13 but on the safe side I will say don't read this post if you haven't finished Masters of Spinjitzu. If you're not caught up on Dragons Rising its probably fine because I refuse to actually watch it until I can with my brother so as long as you watched MoS you guys are fine

I: Discussion/Recap

Okay, so as a quick recap for anyone just discovering this or you just need a refresher, my last Ninjago post was about a theory / au talking about the green ninja legacy and Misako's possible involvement in Lloyd's abilities (her family also being elementals basically) and the relation to other masters and their legacies as well. A lot of people really liked that post so I thought I should give it a shot.

But I decided to ask this because I feel like one option is more complicated than the other. All to do with Morro and his involvement/relation to characters.

We could go

Route A) Morro not being related to the Montgomery family

Or, Route B) Morro being related to the Montgomery family.

For anyone unaware, Montgomery is the original surname of Misako, implied by the hyphenated or dual surname(s) of "Montgomery-Garmadon", which she shares with Lloyd. Montgomery would be her Maiden name and the family she got from her family.

These two would determine very important factors and I will have a section explaining each one so there is no misunderstanding on what is I am asking. This is not something I have a preference on tbh and either way I choose will make my dad groan or lose brain cells if I yap about it XD

I'm on my phone typing this and my hand is gonna be CRAMPING but let's go!

II: Important Context

The reason that this is so important to me? The ideas I already have established when it comes to Morro. Morro was the master of wind revealed at the end of S4 and the main antagonist of S5. Originally a student of Wu, he took training very seriously and thought he would be the green ninja. He ends up dying before he could prove himself and the rest is history.

There were two details from earlier parts of the series and writing that were either scrapped or retconned that I involved in this headcanon/theory esque idea.

One being an early concept that Morro would be Cole's brother. How that would come into play I have no idea but I loved it. Like fire and water, earth and air are complementary to each other, so the idea of them being brothers sounds incredible to me.

Another thing is the fact that Jay could use wind back in season one, I can't remember the episode but it was in the temple of fire, when they saved Lloyd. This is a retconned or forgotten moment that was actually a key detail in a story I fell in love with back in middle school / early high school; it brought up the idea Morro being Jay's relative. Considering how lightning replaced air so the show wasn't an ATLA ripoff, I think its funny.

Are Cole and Jay brothers? No, absolutely not. They are in each other's hearts but they aren't biologically (it would also be impossible considering both of them inherit their mother's element). Morro, however, most likely would inherit from somewhere on his father's side, and I think, with two dark haired, mustache wielding men in performing arts as their careers would be perfect relatives, able to pass those abilities to their sons, even if it skipped a generation.

This would leave Cole and Morro as Jay's first or second cousin, depending on family relations and I'm leaning towards the second. It is possible, but I digress (aka I'm worrying about that later).

Now that you have the context for what I am talking about, let's look at our two options.

III: Route A) Morro is not a Montgomery

And by that I mean he is not related to Misako and Lloyd. This is admittedly the less complicated version when it comes down to family trees and doesn't create too many assumptions and issues that might make someone go "hey why is xyz" or whatever.

This also is a plain and simple "Wu was wrong like he said, Morro wasn't supposed to be the green ninja". Nothing changed about that, just a kid who wished to be important (I feel so bad for that boy 😭)

IV: Route B) Morro is a Montgomery

This means that by any sort of means that Morro, as well as Cole and Jay, are related to the Montgomery family, and in turn Misako and Lloyd. The way I could probably picture it is the four boys sharing great grandparents or something like that.

This could also give the implication, if executed right, that Morro could have been, but destiny decided to do its best to prevent it because Morro started growing into an arrogant young boy that would be too dangerous to wield that power.

I say that because someone on Reddit (can't remember who) pointed out that the sword in the scene where Morro is told that destiny had "spoken" is not the sword of fire and therefore couldn't cause a reaction to Morro anyhow. Why would Wu make such an incredibly foolish mistake? Because Destiny needed him to.

This is admittedly a more complicated family tree to work out but it still would be just as fun.

V: Endnote

Okay so those are my options here, I can't decide what I want (and I am definitely realizing Morro might be my favorite along with Zane, surprisingly Misako is pretty close now compared to my opinion of her like a year or two ago)

As a fanfic writer, I know I shouldn't write for other people (or do anything for others in general) but others being happy makes me happy and I'd be happy either way so I want to know what people would rather see. (Also my next post is another Morro/Misako based post technically, surprise surprise /sar)

So.. Which one is it?

Route A) Morro isn't a Montgomery.

Route B) Morro is a Montgomery.

I saw this earlier so I thought I'd take a swing at it. Here are my TSS baking headcanons!

Patton: He loves to bake. Not quite an expert but he thinks its fun. He kinda just eyeballs everything and never measures jack.

Logan: He can bake.. Doesn't mean he likes to. He is very precise so it normally turns out pretty well but its not very fun to him so he doesn't normally.

Roman: Absolutely loves it. He is phenomenal and is a master decorator. He is your go to guy for birthdays.

Janus: He can barely do anything past mediocrity. He can make mug cakes and that's it. No clue why but whatever.

Remus: No one trusts him in the kitchen, but he's actually decent. He just hates baking normally, wanting to jazz it up a bit. That involves many inedible things.

Virgil: He won't do it. Not even sure if he could. He hates it, lacks the motivation and doesn't believe he could do it.

Would you guys read a cringe fanfiction on this AU I made? (+ Theory) [SPOILERS AHEAD]

Okay, so while I haven't seen Dragon's rising, I've been heavily spoiled (only reason I haven't is because my little brother is watching Masters of Spinjitzu and I want to watch DR with him, he's on S8 last I checked for ref). This is going to be a bunch of yapping because none of my friends are as into it as I am (from my awareness) so I will send it out to people who might like it, aka Tumblr users LOL

(Spoilers below if you haven't religiously watched up to DR Season 3 finale and the trailers/clips for S4. Please click away if that isn't something you want to deal with. Yes, this is me making sure everything is under the read more thing because I'm going to cry if someone got spoiled because of me(/j))

I: Theory and bit of a ramble

I especially had to look at something (yes, I spoil it for myself because you know how long it's been since DR started? I'm just used to it atp lmao) because I heard Jillian Michaels was coming back and I got VERY EXCITED for that and can't wait to watch this part of the series with my brother. Something that came up though, as yes I am active online and accept I will get spoiled, was the idea there were several other green ninja that Lloyd knew nothing about (as well as their roles) and because I am highly imaginative and am literally dying to see these seasons with my brother, I decided to think about the possibility just to see if I would get it right later. Just for funsies of course! If I'm wrong, it's whatever but uh- let's go :D My thoughts mainly tied back to the fact Lloyd is master of life, which was technically confirmed back in the movie but was reiterated later down the line, like... 8 years or so. Which yes makes me feel VERY old and I am only turning twenty sobs

As we know, elemental powers pass down through to the next generation or next viable user of the element. Normally, from what we've seen, power passes down to your descendant. From Benton, to Lilly, to Cole, all three down the line were masters of earth. Of course, in situations like Hibernus and Morro, they never had someone to pass their power down to, so one sought out a possible new master and the other had his power even in death until destiny finally picked a new master, possibly to not make another treacherous mistake like they did with Morro.

Lloyd has the powers of his grandfather, the first spinjitzu master, as well as the green ninja power, which we can now call the element of life. Where did he get it from and why? Well, funny thing is, we're slowly learning about the Montgomerys (Misako's family). We know her mother sent Lloyd candies in boarding school, and we know Lloyd has a cousin on that side that he wishes would stop bothering him (he's so real for that). Not to mention all the other weird stuff about Misako.

We know she's human, as Lloyd got his human half from her. She has a silver spinjitzu tornado, she managed to beat the son of the first spinjitzu master in his own martial art..? She also said that even when Lloyd was young, she knew he'd be the green ninja. She's an archaeologist and is incredibly knowledgeable. She was always an intriguing character, and I still find it odd she knew the green ninja was Lloyd before Garmadon and Wu. Whacky mother intuition maybe, but I think there's something else going on.

The Ninajgo Movie is in the same boat with the shows as the books and movies are to the FNaF franchise, not quite canon but there are certain things that still line up with the show. The ninjas still fight the ultimate evil of their world (Garmadon), just behind the mask, concealing their secret identities. Kai is still very clearly a brother figure to Lloyd while also being confident and dependable. Nya is also still very supportive and independent, standing out amongst her peers for not just being the girl of the group. I could go on but I think you see my point already.

Misako (who, for the movieverse I will refer to as Koko) is a mother who works hard to provide for her only son. I see a lot of people say Koko is the better mother, but I think it came down to circumstances. The circumstances between movie and show were very different, with Misako knowing before anyone and Koko not knowing because of Lloyd hiding it in the movie. Koko's only concern was raising Lloyd while Misako was trying to prevent an entire prophecy because her family was on the line. Same woman, different circumstances, so therefore different outcomes.

Something about Koko that I always liked was her warrior persona, "the Lady Iron Dragon", who is someone Movieverse!Nya looked up to. Her and Garmadon met on the battlefield and the romantic tension was thick enough to slice through with the very blades they fought with. Very different because Misako isn't a warrior.

Or is she? I propose to you this: Misako's family are the masters of life and the green ninjas from the past. Her counterpart being a warrior, her participation in the explorers club, her passion of archaeology and her extensive research on a prophecy that Wu didn't even have as much of an understanding. She knew about LLoyd's destiny before anyone and tried to prevent it. Her spinjitzu might even be a sign. People without elemental power can do spinjitzu, but judging by Doubloon and Arin, both using spinjitzu without an elemental power, the default might be a golden color, reminiscent of the first spinjitzu master and his youngest son's, as it would be the purest form (just go with it XD) and Misako's is silver. Could it just be because of the writers choosing silver for her? Yes, but we don't do that in this house B) The idea, while it might not be perfect, would be amazing if executed properly and would make me want to know so much more about Misako's family. With such a (probably) wise and powerful family, no wonder she kicked Wu's butt in spinjitzu aha II: So.. AU?

Do I think this could be canon? Probably not TwT

However I can still make an AU about it. I will probably call it the Montgomery Legacy AU which would go into the family and it's important figures, probably not too much about the green ninja thing but maybe about Misako's childhood and how her father would show her how to fight with some master of life magic sprinkled in because yes.

It's not just about that however because as you might be able to tell, my thoughts get long and complicated if I sit with them for too long. This is sort of a compiling of different, older theories, scrapped ideas and fanon concepts.

First thing to address is the key factor, the glue per se that keeps it all together, Morro. As much as I would love to see him be the cousin who's bothering him, I highly doubt it, but I am bring something similar to the table. There was a theory that circulated a bit around reddit about the idea that Morro was meant to be the green ninja, but that Wu managed to make a mistake by placing down the wrong sword. I think that would be an intentional move from Cloud Kingdom as Morro was getting dangerous and cocky. I absolutely love that theory and full heartedly believe it.

Now does the new possible lore debunk it? Maybe, but here's the thing, we never see Morro's family or learn anything about him except for a scrapped concept; it was supposed to be that Morro was Cole's brother and how that would have went down is currently unknown to me, and why they scrapped it, probably just had better ideas brewing in the pot and I do still love the outcome of S5.

What does that have to do with anything? I'm getting there, I promise, please if you're still reading stick around T-T

Another thing that was (probably) retconned was Jay using wind in the temple of fire if I remember that correctly. He made a funnel of wind to help him move through the volcano. This in fact sparked one of my favorite fanfictions that I cannot find that discussed the idea of Morro instead being related to Jay, and Jay being the master of Storm rather than just lightning (it talked about forbidden elements / figures, examples being the purple ninja, master of storm, master of wild, etc. Please drop link if you can find it sobs)

I loved both concepts so much, and what does a fan do when she has concepts she loves very much? She writes them. And I even have explanations for it.

Lou (Cole's Father), Cliff (Jay's Birth Dad) and Misako all being cousins, sharing their grandparents who would have been the masters of wind and life. Only one great grandchild (Morro) inherited Wind and Misako's end of the bloodline inherited the life aspect and passing it down to Lloyd while the other two, Cole and Jay, inherited their mothers elements.

The cousins were never close, especially not with Cliff, as it's implied he has some problematic traits. Cliff left to be an actor, Lou stayed in his hometown and Misako tended to explore and train herself. Eventually they all had their children and then the series happens.

"Niko, what about Morro, he's much older than the others." I hear you saying, well my friend, that is why I know this would never be canon, however my AU explanation is that Lilly and Lou met when they were very young and fell in love, accidentally causing a pregnancy that neither had the resources for. For the child's sake, they gave Morro to an orphanage where he eventually ran away from and eventually met Wu. When they get older, and they decided they were ready, they finally tried again and now we have Cole.

If you're still somehow here.. would you read something like this ever? Should I waste my time and go back to the roots of fanfiction?

III: TL;DR

Basically I discussed a theory about the possibility of Misako's family being the masters of life and that's why she knew Lloyd was the green ninja

Then I basically talked about a fanfic idea that was about if Lou (Cole's Dad), Cliff (Jay's bio dad) and Misako were cousins, with granparents that were from the legacies of the masters of wind and life and the idea that Cole and Morro (brothers like in a scrapped S5 concept) were second cousins to Lloyd and Jay, basically ensuing the family shenanigans and Montgomery Family lore

This is honestly going to suck but-

Okay, I don’t see enough people talking about this so- here we are. This will contain spoilers for the analog horror series, Guilty Tears Au of Sanders Sides. If you haven’t seen it or if any of the following triggers you, please skip: (I am listing the triggers from all the episodes just in case you want to watch it as well so some won’t make sense on a tumblr post, but just in case-) Disturbing Imagery, Loud Sounds, Body Horror, Blood, Gore, Death, Violence, Food (more like implied cannibalism, but ok-), Flashing Lights, Spiders, Ladybugs.

Now if any of that bugs you, I would say that this isn’t for you. This is just my personal opinion and analysis on this series! So let’s get started:

Episode 1: Teachers PowerPoint

So, we’re starting off with a very simple format; a PowerPoint presentation called “Dreams, a Manageable Analysis by Logan Sanders”.

Like omg Logan is so cute in this 🥺. He keeps talking about sleep and the benefits and downsides of it. But something is… off about it. The monitor keeps glitching out and skipping parts of the presentation. It skipped over the definition of Non-REM sleep, and it just is a bit strange. Then this happens:

And then it gets closer T-T. I kinda jumped when I saw it ngl- Then he gives us the definition of a nightmare. It kinda was normal at first but then-

Like wth-? This was honestly just weird to me me, cause he looked like a fucking demon- this isn’t even the weirdest part (and therefore not the most interesting).

Now, the first one is obviously a reference to everything going on with the wedding arc and… other things. Missing Important Events? The callback. Loneliness. More so up to interpretation, or is it? I’ll come back to it later. Rejection? Again, back to it later. Confusing Emotions? All that Thomas has been dealing with for a WHILE. Broken promises, WTIT, anyone?

Wow.. well what I say about this, is that Logan is snapping at Thomas again, cause as we have seen, he tends to distract himself rather than actually solving his problems. Logan is trying to communicate with Thomas again and he. Won’t. Listen.

After that we got a number sequence:

If you line it up with the letters in the alphabet, you get “Stop Ignoring Re”. I thought I heard it wrong but I didn’t-. So there had to be a reason for it to say “Re” instead of “Me”, right? Right. I’ll be tying it together, I swear. Just bear with me here. I also find it interesting that a YELLOW GLOVED HAND turned off the monitor and put an out of order note on the screen (I mean it was pretty glitchy so I mean-).

(Also there is a sticky note on the bottom left corner that reads “DONT LOOK BEHIND THE CURTAIN” keep that in the back of your mind c:)

Episode 2: Forgotten Fairytale

So it starts with Janus opening a story book titled “The Young Prince”.

This is interesting- I see a little crown charm on the bookmark- Erin focus- okay so the cover already grabbed my attention. At first cause I thought of beauty and the beast and

H O L Y S H I T the parallels. We have a mirror with a green gem on the handle (I don’t think it’s important but I could be mistaken-). In it, a black wilting rose. Black roses itself mean death, while the wilting flower by itself means “Term used to supress desire when it would otherwise be impossible to fornicate.” Roman wanted to go to the callback (and ask out Nico), but it seemed just out of reach, so he ended up with choosing an option that goes against himself (Virgil helped him with Nico but still-).

To the actual story, it talks about how lonely Roman feels (Loneliness huh?) and that he wants to meet his true love. He searches and searches but can’t find them. One night, a witch pays a visit. He says that he wants to make a deal: he will give Roman his “one true love” in exchange for half of his kingdom. Roman didn’t want to risk it, and told him no.. the witch did not like that.

He cursed Roman, and his face had melted off. Overwhelmed by heartbreak, he locked himself in his tower. The people eventually forgot about him and he died alone, holding the wilted black rose..

And then Janus literally closes the book on that tale-. So Roman’s I feel is more metaphorical, he feels like his world is falling apart, trying to use love to distract him from the pain of his decision to go to the wedding, and the moment he was attacked, no one helped him.. (Janus I love you but you’re a bitch-)

Episode 3: Cookie Mistake

(Yes I’m sure it’s a pun off of Rookie Mistake, it’s Patton what did you expect?)

So this an actual person acting out Patton this time.

The puns 😭. But yeah, it’s a simple baking tutorial! And it’s a mime kinda thing, so we have dialogue on the screen. It seemed normal, but this is Guilty Tears.

He dumped the flour into the bowl and made a little bit of a mess- it’s baking what are you going to do about it? But Patton started shaking slightly saying “That wasn’t supposed to happen…” It’s okay I know you said you were feeling “crumby” but damn- it’s just flour.

Ok then, laying it on thick. So Patton is freaking out over the little things and these little messages pop up. “Do you feel guilt consuming your every thought?” No I don’t think so- but this is maybe reference to POF, where he caused Thomas pain without realizing. The “Nobody is free of sin” seems like a twisted version of their new concept, “Not everything is black and white.” Patton is trying to distract himself from what happened and is only stressing himself out more.

HOLY FUCK, PATTON- Okay. So there’s obviously SOMETHING going on. Why did he have blood in the first place? Why’d he think it was a good idea? Patton are you a cannibal now-?

This gave me an idea.. this could be both figurative or literal but, the blood is on his hands.. Let’s take a look at Virgil’s episode.

Episode 4: Wake Up Call

According to (assumedly) Thomas’ phone, it is 3:23 pm. April 23rd. Almost his birthday, hmm.

Holy shit- no✨ Dolls are creepy enough-. Anyway, it’s starts off by (I assume) Virgil asking Thomas:

So one answer is normal, one is more normal for Thomas and the other sounds more Anxiety related. He chooses to brush his teeth, but they fall out. In dreams, teeth falling out are associated with loss and important life changes. Thomas has been struggling to coming to terms with the fact that he isn’t a complete pure good, and his life has changed drastically. This series started from a silly blog and now it’s a series dealing with complex and controversial issues, while he’s struggling to show the world who he is.

With the answers, they’re the same type. He chooses to make breakfast, but in the fridge with Virgil Doll, is a fucking skeleton/corpse and the fridge is all bloody. The “blood on his hands” thing might be more literal than we MAY have thought. Did Thomas kill someone? If so, who did he kill? I’ll get us there (hopefully-).

Okay- Hi Virgil- so, here I want to point out c. “I promise tomorrow I will change I will be a good person I will clean”. As soon as it had showed up on the screen, Virgil appeared. Thomas is making promises he can’t keep.

(“WHY DON’T YOU LISTEN TO ME? AM I A JOKE TO YOU? I TRY SO HARD TO BE PATIENT AND GIVE  YOU TIME, BUT YOU CHOSE TO MAKE A STUPID PROMISE INSTEAD OF ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING”)

Seems like Logan had another good point- Thomas keeps trying to say tomorrow this and tomorrow that, but Virgil knows. He wants Thomas to get up and be productive, but with Logan “out of service” you have anxiety based motivation. Virgil, being his anxiety, is also reminding him what he did.

At the end, Virgil doll is hanging by a thread (literally) and we see a gloved hand cut the thread. Setting Virgil free for now..

Episode 5: Important Reminder

Thomas is upstairs, and is going down to his living room to answer a knock at his door, and it is a WRECK. But worse than before. There’s blood on the walls and all that. He picks up “The Young Prince” something he apparently used to like during childhood, and finds this drawing between the pages:

“Have you ever imagined killing your brother?” “This is me electrifying my brother!”

Could this imply that Remus was actually the supposed witch? It was (possibly) the drawing mentioned in the Moving On episodes within the pages of a book where Princey died. This could be implying that ever since Remus appeared, Roman has been hurting. Maybe because he blames his dear twin for the murder?

…

THIS IS WHY WE SAID DONT LOOK BEHIND THE CURTAIN-!?

Okay- I’m okay. If you can’t tell, the word “unhelpful” was written in blood, and there is some behind the curtain. I can’t tell who it is tho- Patton? Nightmare Nico?

Speaking of Nico, ✨R E J E C T I O N✨

But really, Thomas is obviously having issues. He tried to get out the house, but Nico was busy that whole week. (Including his birthday 😢)

When he finally answered the door..:

As we’ve seen in WTIT, Thomas is scared of getting older, so I think it’s interesting that Remus called him that. “I can show you how bad things can truly get” I think this is his twisted way of saying “Get over it, you didn’t do as much harm think you did.”

(“Stop Ignoring Re”)

But of course, Janus closes the door on him, shutting him away from Thomas.

Episode 6: Blinding Denial

>No no no.

>I’m fine, I’m alright.

>I’m just…

>I’m just tired.

>I’ll fix it tomorrow, okay?

>I promise.

Thomas have still not learned? 🤨

I feel when Janus leaves the baby crying, he’s not talking about a literal baby, but Thomas. Janus has been sheltering him from the sides trying to confront him (Turning off the PC, Closing the Book, Editing the Video + cleaning the blood, etc.) but has had enough of Thomas prolonging the inevitable.

“You’ve been walking in circles”

“You’re running away from yourself”

He squished the Ladybug. Whilst crushing the hope that good luck will suddenly make things better.

“It’s time to move on and forgive yourself”
