I don't know if I would have enjoyed my magical experience if a ghost had tried to lock me in a closet, but I suppose that each person has their own personal enjoyments that I just don't seem to understand.Ā

If my so called complaining bothers you so much than my biggest recommendation would be to ignore it and not say anything. I always find that to be the most solid answer to things. I'm not going to apologize for the things that I post, but you're welcome to have your own opinions. I just happen to disagree with you.

Iām not disagreeing with you, but I donāt know if theyāll listen. Maybe you should rally some students together and start a club, see if you can convince them. Society for the Protection of Students Against Ghosts or something.
You know, that's not actually a bad idea. While many students find the ghosts antics to be entertaining, I think that there are plenty of students who would protect their fellow students against the teasing of ghosts. I would never try and control anyone, but a small society of students looking out for their fellow students wouldn't be a bad idea at all.Ā

I don't think so, and it's not like I was complaining about something that happened to me. This is a website where everyone is free to talk about whatever they please and this is what I please to talk about, what exactly are you saying with this reply, may I ask?

No...and why do you need to see it, so you can laugh at a poor twelve year old being shoved in a closet and being probably traumatized because of it?
There arenāt many benefits of being stuck around this place for hundreds of years. Doing whatever they want when they want is about all they have. Itās annoying, but Iād rather have a ghost around than a poltergeist.
I know that they've been around much longer than we have, but I think that being rude towards the students isn't something that should be allowed. They are definitely much better than a poltergeist and are much less rude and are rude much less often, I just think that attacking students shouldn't be allowed on any level.

Unfortunately you're right, even if there was an effort to get them to stop their tormenting, they wouldn't listen. The ghosts have been around here way longer than any of the teachers or students, so they wouldn't comply. They can't do that much harm, but still sometimes their constant tormenting can get to be a bit much.Ā
First and second years get the worst treatment and itās not fair. Mostly from ghosts when they play around and donāt get me wrong, I love playing around but I wouldnāt go to that extreme to mess around with someone. If she was okay then thatās all that you can do, show her that you were there and she will probably thank you once she collects herself.
They do, really. I canāt see that happening any time soon, sadly because they are so caught up in everything else that is going on. I donāt believe that any of them would listen to us for us to get anywhere with progress. I feel horrible, I should watch around the halls more.
They really do, and I remember when I was a first year and none of the older students extended an olive branch to me, which is why I'm trying to do the opposite for the newer students. The school can be a tricky place if you've never been there before and while some first years get the hang of it right away and walk around like the own the place, some of them are nervous and those are the ones that the ghosts tend to attach themselves to. I don't really expect a thank you, I'm just glad she's okay.Ā
Unfortunately, I think you're right. The ghosts are far too set in their ways considering how long they've been around that even if they were asked to stop, they never would and would consider it rude that we ere even asking them. I wouldn't feel bad about it, I just like to walk around the halls when I don't have homework to do and frog choir has yet to start up, so I find myself with nothing to do and walking the halls is much more interesting then being locked up in the dormitories.Ā

I think so, I luckily had a free period and was merely walking the hallway when I saw her and I helped her and made sure she was okay, but she seemed like she wanted to get to class and act like it never happened, which I don't blame her for.Ā
I think that the headmaster needs to have a sit down with all the ghosts and tell them what is proper and improper behavior with the students. Because, while most of the time it's harmless, sometimes they don't know when to stop.Ā

No surprise that it was one of the nameless ghosts, probably trying to make a name for himself among the other ghosts.Ā
It's especially worse because the ghosts aren't students so there isn't really any way to punish them, they also can show up basically everywhere, so there's that as well.Ā
I don't understand why some of the ghosts at this school insist on being so rude. I had to help a poor second year who was merely walking to class after a ghost attempted to lock her in a closet. I get that most of them are just trying to provide entertainment, but there's a fine line between joking and being just plain rude.Ā
According to some I was a crusty, socially awkward shut-in. So that means a lot.
I feel like the adjective crusty should never, ever be used in that context. Well, you're welcome, we all were pretty adorable eleven year olds and I think that some people would agree with me.Ā
Cats tend to do that.We had this big tabby back home. Sheād bring in mice, rats, spiders, birds and a bunch of other random critters.
Luckily, Barbra has yet to bring me any spiders, which is good because I would be terrified to touch one, even if it was dead. She did bring me a bat once when I was fourteen, I made one of the boys in the older dorms get rid of it for me because of how gross it looked. I admire Barbra for being a natural hunter, but I really would wish that she would stop insisting on bringing me presents.Ā
Well, good for her. You might want to train her to bring catch something more useful than dead mice. Make it worth it.
I should start training her to bring me answers to the exams, not that I would need them since I do plenty well on my own, but I could sell them to my fellow students and make a pretty large profit on them.Ā

Hello Marley! I trust that you had a wonderful holiday. I don't think many people need any dead mice, but I thought that it would only be the polite thing to do to put the offer out there in case anyone did.Ā
Plan a memorial service. Those mice probably didnāt deserve it.
I've tried to tell Barbra not to kill the mice that live in the castle or on the grounds, but she can't seem to stop herself.Ā
