Watching videos of rusty tool restorations is very therapeutic.
Sometimes I feel like a rusty soviet anvil that needs to be bathed in acid and sanded down 100 times until I’m in proper order.
I recommend watching these videos in mute with your own music in the background, especially if you’re peeved by sounds of drilling and scraping because that’s 90% of the restoration process.
Think of yourself like a piece that needs restoration.
Break your problems down to pieces, lay them out, and then work on each component separately. Replace things when necessary, or add new components. Then assemble the pieces back into a shiny new you.
