So there are a lot of little scenes between Oh and Tip in the book that I absolutely loved ( and little habits of Oh’s that I wish had been brought into the movie). He actually does change colours in the book! Eee that made me so happy :D

This here. This line hit me so hard. Imagine the girls, the hundreds, thousands of little dark skinned girls hearing this in full blast in a movie theatre. How uplifting. How encouraging. How fucking right.

I got freaking chills when I heard this line. It echoed in my ear and ricocheted across my heart, it hit me so deep.

I have never heard that in a movie before and when the camera cut back to Tip and you- you actually see her up there.. I teared up.
