Interpreting the historical context through scent and designing a visual identity to communicate the story of the masterpiece: The Hon. Mrs Graham by Thomas Gainsborough. Applying the Semiotics ‘signifier’ theory to deconstruct the painting to unravel storytelling keywords and to further use these to develop scent and visual identity systems.
