2.) Joining a kickboxing gym (I’ve been wanting to do this for a month) with a friend from work.

4.) Generally had an excellent day at work.
That’s it, xoxox
Gratitude #1 on 1/4/17
A few moments that made me grateful to live the life I live today:
1.) Creating more abundance in my relationships with people I work with on a daily basis.
2.) Coconut oil scrub - truly life changing! My skin is baby soft right now.
3.) I actually did 10 push-ups tonight before dying when I hit the ground (I used to be able to do 15 with no problem) - this means I’m improving in my health and strength :)
4.) Eating 6 homemade chocolate chip cookies I ate cuzzz I needed to do some emotional eating, I’m human.
5.) Minimized a lot of time on social media today (it’s a good thing!).
6.) Mindfully ate an amazing plant based dinner tonight after my work out for that proper fuel.
7.) Snuggled up in my warm bed with peppermint tea.
That was actually a lot of gratitude and now I’m sleepy from thinking about it, xoxox
2017 Marathon
So like every one else, I have a few New Year resolutions that I’m looking forwarded to seeing the end results for. However, it’s important to understand that in order to be successful, one must be patient, very patient, and consistent. We make promises to ourselves that we’ll fulfill certain tasks each New Year’s. Some may want to lose weight, eat healthier, be in a relationship, cut out the negativity in their lives, etc. The key however to all of these goals is to keep going, even when you don’t want to on certain days and just want to quit all together. Saying you’re going to do something in words is completely different from what your actions portray and we all get distracted with all of life’s curve balls, but that shouldn’t stop you from completing the most important task, which is YOUR DREAMS AND GOALS. This year I’ve decided to really break down many of my past goals and improve them to specify to my lifestyle and my personal needs. I’ll admit that I’ve not been very good with my own personal promises and I know that that is something that I’ll work on for my entire life. So why not start now? I mean January is just another month, so I’m mentally picturing this as just any month of the year and started fresh for myself. Here are a few important goals that I’ve set for myself (reminding myself it’s a marathon and not a sprint). Also these are in no particular order of when they should be accomplished:
1.) Do Kayla Itsines’s work outs (even when I don’t want to)
2.) Eat as healthy as possible
3.) No alcohol until further notice
4.) Meditate/breathe every day for at least 10 mins
5.) Minimize social media usage (excluding beneficial one’s)
6.) Get into creating my own art again
7.) Go to kickboxing classes (that I already paid for so I can’t back out)
8.) Make sure to share gratitude each day (minimum 3)
9.) It’s okay to feel shitty sometimes - just need to work through a few things
10.) Avoid negative people (specifically my shitty ex)
11.) Focus on friends and family - people who matter
12.) Save money for travel and beneficial experiences with great people
13.) Reach sales incentives at my job
14.) Don’t forget to enjoy yourself and live
15.) **REMEMBER** YOU ARE AMAZING AND WONDERFUL - no one can take away your gift of being you :)
Okay, that’s it, GOOD NIGHT xoxox
This world needs more fucking love man.
Gratitude Journal #1
I’ve been “trying” to get into writing in a journal or posting my thoughts somewhere for a while about gratitude, abundance, balance and a healthy lifestyle. Of course, chaotic events in my life have been taking place for quite some time which has sidetracked me away from my tumblr page. I decided since I’m looking for work and have graduated from university that I have time to dedicate to my blog now, which is very exciting! :) I have been meaning to post in here for a while now, just for myself. My tumblr page is mainly for me and to document my life, emotions and events for my own personal use. If anyone happens to stumble upon my blog, feel free to give me a follow/shout out!Â
Anyway, I wanted to start documenting my gratitude to events, people and things that are going on in my present day life now. Everyone always says to be in the moment so I’ll share a few of my thoughts in this first journal post. I used to keep a little journal where I’d write down at least three things/people/events that I was grateful for, but why not post it onto the web since everyone is doing this and I enjoy reading other blogs?Â
First off, I am truly grateful for my family and friends. I know everyone says this and it is repetitive and obvious why people state this, but it’s a true gratitude everyone at least should have towards the people who they interact with on a daily basis. I have always had plenty of friends and have no problem connecting with others, but for over a year now, I have weaved out the trash and have stuck to my true companions and have even became closer with acquaintances. I can easily say now that each and every one of the people I have in my life now are truly wonderful and unique individuals. They bring abundance, love, support, understanding, honesty and loyalty into my life. I used to just hang out with people who would easily get me materialistic things that I “wanted” at the time. It was shallow and repulsive on my part, as well as their’s for being a part of it. Those individuals are obviously not in my life now because I have realized how important having a true and honest friend is versus having someone who contributes to your old, unhealthy and harmful habits. Everyone in my life has a strive to fulfill their purpose in the world and a place in my life. They truly care about events that are going on in my life, how I feel about occurrences and what my dreams and goals are. After coming out of a toxic and horrific time period in my life, my family and friends supported me and loved me for who I was then and now cheer me on to pursue my passions I have now. I honestly would not have come this far in my life and accomplished so many wonderful things under a year if it wasn’t for them. I make sure each individual who has touched my life and changed it for the better deserve to have a life full of happiness and joy for eternity. I also share my gratitude with them on a regular basis. They deserve a post about how amazing they are, so I’ll give one to them :) Shout out to the fam and the real homies out there who touch someone’s life in full because you deserve the world! XOXOX
When people laugh at you for being different, laugh right back at them for being the same.

We are theatres and hallways, lonesome faded islands. We are blood and bone and anger. We are lost inside our bodies. Smile at a stranger today. We’re all just animals awake to ourselves and for some people that’s a lot to deal with.

It’s possible to be in pain and be happy. I wasn’t sure it was possible, but here it is. I’m still a work in progress but I can live like this.
If you’re not there yet, keep fighting. You’ll get there.
When life knocks you down, roll over and look at the stars.
