Why haven’t we given up on the drug war since it’s an obvious failure and violates the people’s rights? Has nobody noticed that the authorities can’t even keep drugs out of the prisons? How can making our entire society a prison solve the problem?

Mind Readers
I know men aren't mind readers, Mel Gibson showed how bad that could be if you guys were.. Lol. The concept that men don't know what woman want has helped some guys to forget what women need... A provider (not solely more so as a team), a sense of security as a protector, and sometimes just to be held and listened to even when he doesn't understand her feelings. Naturally I'm a lover and a big dreamer that just wants everything to work out smoothly from the start to the finish but I've had the problem of fighting for the wrong person and for the wrong reasons..

I am awesome.
I am filled with flaws and my ability to admit this proves that I am indeed awesome. My outlook on life and my ability to find good points in bad situations. Pleasing men with physical skills instead of my brain is a big reason why I am where I am now. Which is not a bad place I will have the know how to please the one that strives to please me, but a few other things that make me awesome is my ability to communicate, laugh, and most importantly love just for the sake of loving something..
I hate being strong.
Not even 10 minutes into the day and my child has dug her nails into another kid at day care, and they are calling to let me know "as a warning like she is about to be kicked out". I honestly don't have a clue what to do. Her dad is steadily trying to work his way back in my life and I have no interest in being in a life with him, he talks at me like he is better then me, when I took care of the house hold we shared for the half century we were together. I know I'm not perfect and I understand that he is trying, but I just can't see a life with him. I know my baby wants her daddy back home and it's probably part of the reason she acts out the way she does, on top of the fact she is already a demanding child of having to have what she wants when she wants it. I used to think, how could parents just abondon their children and right now, I cry as I say, I would love to just run away and never come back to this life. I told myself this morning that today, was going to be a good day, and right now, all I want to do is go home and cry. I know it won't do any good, just as writing this stupid post won't solve anything. Life goes on, right?
The Love of Music
My first love of music was the piano, I would pretend I knew how to play on the pew in front growing up in church and always asked friends that knew how to play, to play something, anything they could play. Something about the sound of musical instruments that use strings for their melody brings me peace. I'd prefer a concert of "strings" and percussion over the instruments of brass and wind pipes anyday. The idea of waking up to, or spending an afternoon listening to a piano, chello, guitar or violin makes me smile..

How was your day??
My day was awesome! I got to work early, got to swim 25 minutes, had a burger for lunch with a free glass of a favorite, unsweetened tea, my baby girl had her last dance class of the summer and I got to take video on this awesome new smart phone ( still wondering how I lived without one of these things). My funny moment of the day: was when my baby got out the shower looking for the "peanuts" better known as edamame!! Oh happy day it was!!
Waiting for a car..
After 11 years of driving I caused my first wreck last Friday, no one was hurt but Farrah, my poor baby, she has been so good to me all these years and I let her down. For once I am thanking the insurance company instead of talking bad about them. I am kind of excited to get a rental car and drive something new for a week or two. It's a happy day even considering the circumstances...The plus side of my day, the pool was open to swim laps!!!!
