I love evermore, and all the songs Taylor and Aaron have made together, but evermore is the most Jack sparse album we’ve had since he started working with Taylor, and I’m having a hard time coping with it.

My boyfriend was in the kitchen cutting up some cheese and said “I think I’ve had this cheese before” and my dumbass poked my head in from the other room and said “And you didn’t like the ending!?”
Incase anyone needs a new handwashing song, the chorus of Betty is 20 seconds long.
As many have pointed out, the “Not a whole lot going on at the moment” 4/27 post was a palindrome of the release date. The same set of numbers, but in reverse. But that Easter Egg goes much deeper...
The entire album is a story told in reverse. If you listen to the songs in reverse order they build on each other.
She’s reflecting on all her past lives and experiences. Cardigan captures that. It’s the reflections of her life, but told through the characters she created in this story.
Each “I knew you” is a different single, which created defining points in her musical success.
“I knew you; Tried to change the ending; Peter losing Wendy” is about her changing the ending of Romeo and Juliet for Love Story
“But I knew you; playing hide-and-seen and; giving me your weekends” is the on and off again relationship of “we are never getting back together”
“But I knew you; Dancing in your Levi’s; Drunk under a streetlight” is Style
Each song on the album is her retelling a story from the past. August is a different telling of Style. Betty is essentially the older cousin of How You Get The Girl. But unlike her previous albums, which told those stories in very autobiographical way. Here she’s telling the stories through new characters and exploring different perspective, allowing other storylines to shape her own.
She created the Folklore of her own life.
Everyone talking about the daisies having something to do with Katy Perry is forgetting the very iconic “I once was poison ivy, but now I'm your daisy” lyric from Don’t Blame Me.
My quarantine vibes...
I just finished watching The Good Place, and couldn’t help myself.
Cruel Summer MV
Taylor Swift did not sing Soon You’ll Get Better live for the world so you go out and contaminate it. STAY HOME.
37 days into quarantine and I decided its finally time to deep dive into creating cheesy t.swift content.
