I find this fascinating because C.S. Lewis has this whole theological argument about the pure and simple faith of children; and then it turns out that, when you show a movie based on a Bible story to kids who weren't raised in that tradition...they just end up thinking that God is a monster.
(Prince of Egypt still has banger songs though, obviously)
tbh if someone believes in god(s) and is not a misotheist, what are they doing
Being happy and enjoying their life, I'd imagine.
also ignoring a lot of problems their god could but won't solve.
