Ishval had finally come to a close; a civil war he was not allowed to take part in for obvious reasons. Almost everybody in and out of the academy heard the rumors. The whispers and death glares he received because of it had never bothered him; at least they didn’t after he learned to calm himself. He was trying to make amends for his past or at the very least start anew. However, it’d be a lie if he said it wasn’t hard. Being of little worth to the military as he tried to rewire his upbringing while still being haunted with his own demons could never be easy for any sane person.
But with even more recent events, he finally got his break. Once leaving the academy, Havoc was tossed all about East City doing tasks of little importance, but after a promotion to Second Lieutenant and even more hard work, he – along with the only person he could currently call his only friend – was selected to be a part of a commanding officer’s team. He was shocked to say the least that someone was actually taking notice in him. Although the day he was to discover who this person was that had willingly picked him as a part of his lineup was when things started to get…well, blurry to put it gently.
//Alright so unexpectedly my best friend has flown in from California today!! She is coming to crash with me for the next few days so I miiiight not be on unless she has a few promos to do. But yeah for the most part probably not and not at all skype or aim. I’ll try to squeeze in a reply or two but I won’t be any more active than that. Just to let y’all know!

Havoc sighed as he tucked away his military uniform in his closet, opting for something that he’d wear on a lazy day. It was his first time getting an assignment where he was instructed to NOT wear it. Since he left the academy, he had usually been in charge of calming small riots that were mainly brought on by the civil war and he was always working with a few other men. This was his first undercover mission and by himself no less. Hell, he even got himself promoted to Second Lieutenant upon receiving the order.
His assignment was to follow a rumor about illegal weapons being sold on the black market and the best way to unearth that is to go straight to the source pretending to be a buyer – or seller he still was trying to make up his mind – since he wasn’t really sure what he was getting himself into. However he was confused just not worried. If the rumor happened to be true, then he trusted in his experience and talents and he wanted to believe that the higher ups who gave him the command thought the same thing. But a part of him wondered that maybe they were hoping he wouldn’t come back alive.
“Some people can really hold a grudge,” he muttered blandly to himself as he tucked away a gun into the holster that was strapped over his shoulders and hidden by his jacket before heading out with, of course, a cigarette in between his lips. He could understand the resentment and it’s why he didn’t have much real worth in the military, but he wanted to change that. Maybe he’d finally prove himself today and get himself a team to work with instead of being tossed about HQ.
Havoc made his way to the bar in which was surprisingly within East City. Usually when suspicious things were happening, they’d be in the slums or a decent distance away from the main cities and roads. It was awfully ballsy of them to be acting right under their noses, but then again, it makes sense that the military would act on a rumor rather than waiting for proof. He pushed open the door slowly and cautiously took a look around. ‘Maybe there is a hidden entry way…’ he pondered highly doubting that it’d be here in the middle of the place, but who could he approach? Now that he was thrown in the middle of the situation, he wasn’t sure how to go about his ‘business’.
