As is the case when Random Cuddle Time happens, he tries to stop it at first - if only because he feels guilty for having her put a stop to her busy schedule to spend time with him. She has. So much that needs doing and his needs are nowhere near as important, but he knows better than to voice these thoughts out loud. And so, with a reluctance, he allows her to carry him off for cuddles and whatever else she deems necessary.

And totally only for that reason and that reason alone. And definitely not because this is Plumeria and trying to have her not do something she wants to do is the equivalent of getting a Snorlax to wake from its rest before it’s ready - it’s not just hard but practically impossible.

His arms slip around her while he tucks his face against her neck. It’s a bit of a heartwarming gesture from one who usually does not return her affection very well, and unfortunately because it’s him it’s a heartwarming gesture that’s not going to last.

“ Hey. Hey, Plumes? I just want you to know that I love you,” Said as he pulls back to smack his forehead up against hers, “ and that you’re a punk-ass little bitch.”

Cuddles him close, stroking his hair rhythmically until he dozes off in her arms.

For one who is notoriously hard to get to settle down and relax, he is remarkably calm right now. Between the warmth she exudes, the general feeling of safety he gets whenever he's by her and the touches to his hair aka his " Non-glowing Legend Of Zelda style weak spot ", it's not going to be long until he falls asleep.

However, he will try to resist the inevitable for as long as possible in order to enjoy this quality time with his chosen sibling.

One arm is draped over her, lazily returning the embrace, while the other hand is intertwined with one of her own.

It honestly never fails to amaze him that these hands capable of doing the dangerous work that Skull requires on a near daily basis are the same ones able to perform such loving, tender care to those she deems worthy. These hands have done things he can't even begin to imagine. The pain she inflicted, or had to endure, the scars she bears on them.
