not be a dannie in phannie times but can i mention how much i love this particular trait of dan’s? the one that takes something, anything he becomes at all passionate about, and runs with it? this part of him that has him put his all into literally everything, big and small? it’s obvious with his and phil’s world tours and his coming out video and mental health work, and so many of his other projects, but it never ever goes away? it’s always present in the smaller or quieter things too. like designing his virtual teenage son’s bedroom and staying up on wikipedia because some topic he read enticed him or researching the best way to set up an aquarium for the fish he’s adopting. like, it’s one of his most endearing traits imo and i’m so soft for him

Loads of people has got exams at the moment. Sorry about that. I hope it’s not too stressful. I would say just try not to think about it as one huge overwhelming thing, where everyone’s looking at you and the time is ticking down and break it down to what you actually got to do, which is answer a few questions. And if you’re prepared and relaxed and you’ve looked at the syllabus and the notes of what might appear - it’s always worth asking a teacher what might be on the exam because they know or they’re going to have an idea. So if you ask that and have a look at what the exam board has said “hey, this might be on the exam”, go for it. But I know how stressful it was. I had a horrible time in exams. I did GCSE graphics and in the mock I got an A Star, which is like the best mark and it’s amazing but then I got really stressed in the main exam and I did a lot worse. I think I got a D or an E, something was bad, something was wrong with it. Anyway, I got to do it again and I got a better mark. But still don’t stress out about it. I don’t know why I just told a story of an exam going bad. I don’t know. Sometimes, I would have looked at what was available on the mark scheme and I’d asked the teacher what is this exam going to be and they’d give you like vague points and more often than not they were on there. But I saw a lot of people tweeting about exams and saying like “what was going on the with CDs?” and stuff like that. Especially in maths exams you’d revise loads of stuff and none of it would be on the paper. Mine was just full of triangles, my GCSE maths was. Every single question was a giant triangle. Anyway, I hope that helped slightly. “What GCSEs did you do?” I did graphics, I did German, I did geography… religious education. We had to do religious education actually. That was one that they forced upon us but I was quite good at that. I was good at the ones, which involved essays and writing and I could just be a bit like “here’s a point, and here’s somebody else’s point.” I was a bit worse at maths. Maths was the hardest one. “I’m already out of school” … Congratulations, I love that feeling when you just finished and did the final day. Our last week was always just watching The Simpsons. I don’t know like what educational value The Simpsons had but it was just a week watching Simpsons and then school would be over.
