“I’m melting…” Danny grumbled, tugging at his sweat-soaked t-shirt as he lay on Steve’s sofa. “As if I needed more reasons to dislike Hawaii, heatwaves are the devil’s work.”

Steve smirked at Danny’s half-hearted attempt at a rant, admiring the toned flesh before him.

“It’s not all bad, Danno...” Steve said slyly, reaching to pull off his own soaking wet shirt.

He scooted closer to his partner with every intent of silencing his rant with a mind blowing kiss. Inches from Danny’s tantalizing lips, Steve ducked down just as Danny tugged on his shirt again and got an elbow to the eye instead.

“Agh!” Steve groaned, immediately pulling back, hand covering his eye, assessing the injury.

“I don’t remember ever having this many hickeys,” Danni checked out the mark down her bare chest and torso before turning back to Steve, sprawled in her bed.

She walked over to the bed and crawled back onto the mattress, settling at his side. “But I don’t mind.”

Steve took in the marks all over Danni’s body and immediately felt his blood rush south. He had never been with a woman quite like Danni, and he wasn’t about to give her up after just one round.

“Good,” Steve all but growled into the petite blonde’s ear. “Because you’re not leaving this bed until I say so.”

First Cut

The final chapter is almost done! I love each and everyone of you for encouraging me throughout this epic fic. Your support means everything to me.

Since starting First Cut, I have grown so much as a writer and I feel a little sad that this story is almost over. But, that means I have completed my first ever long fic, which demands celebrating :).

I do have an idea for a sequel but with my life as hectic as it is, it will probably take a lot of time to put into words and then publish.

Without all of you, I probably would have abandoned the fic a long time ago.

In the meantime, if you have any prompts that have been pestering you to be completed or just want to gush over our boys, I would love to talk.

I just. Scott. Danny. I don’t know who I need to scream about in these. Scott’s fucking ACTING. Danny’s fucking FEELS. Just. Just. All of it. Everything. The second one, where he’s just… in the scene he’s like “get him, he’s still alive, COME ONNNNNNN,” like hurry the fuck up if he dies now it’s on fucking you I did my part GET HIM OUT OF HERE FUCKING GOD DAMNIT.

The emotions in this episode as expressed by Scott through Danny absolutely brought tears to my eyes. It is extremely rare for a tv show to bring tears to my eyes, but he did it.

God and that third one. I’m telling you, he broke on the way to the hospital. he just he sobbed on the way to the hospital. They didn’t show it but I know he did. Because when they got there, his voice was wrecked, and wobbly, and I just …. it’s that moment when you can finally relax, when it’s not all on you, that you allow yourself to break, and in that ambulance is when he allowed himself to break and I just know he cried the entire ambulance ride, I know it.
