After that scene in Yemi’s bedroom and the way Jay got so jealous (there’s no other word for it) when he first met Davina there with Yemi and started insulting her. Well.

My slasher-self thinks Jay has had this thing for Yemi forever but it’s near impossible for him to admit it... 

Couldn’t all the relationship complications unfolding as of late between Davina, Jay, and Yemi be solved with an awkward fumbling threesome? Where is the OT3 fanfic Internet, A THREESOME WOULD SOLVE EVERYTHING

So, after the... incident in 1.18 this is Beck happening to find a really old photo in Able's belongings that was taken from way back before Tron got disfigured. YEAH I SHIP THEM OKAY SO WHAT

Even though the show's been cancelled I'm still clinging onto the shreds of hope that this absolutely gorgeous animated television show will be revived for a second season. If you haven't signed the two save Tron: Uprising petitions already you can do so here, please:

Okay and this is me starting an endless utter bullshit shipper speculation rant and spoilers up to 1.18 "No Bounds" below the cut:

So in my dumb headcanon I think Tron and Able used to be together at some point before the whole Dyson incident, er when there used be some inkling of happiness still existing on the Grid somewhere? Okay, even if you don't ship them I still think they would have been very good friends before this. I think when Tron got back from the torture incident and started being hellbent on revenge while disregarding others' safety especially that of Cyrus as the first Renegade, they started to fall apart. In exile, Tron became consumed with maniacal obsession for his plans, and the extremity of Tron's tactics while endangering Cyrus made Able lose all respect for Tron. Cyrus turning rogue was the last straw, and the whole thing ended between them with Able building Cyrus' prison. Thinking of Able's line when he was trying to stop Tron from using Beck as another Renegade: "I won't watch [Beck] become another one of your mistakes!" I think Cyrus got really fucked up/tortured in capture by the enemy somehow (the circuitry lines on his face) when he was working for Tron sorta like Raoul Silva in Skyfall? After having confronted the extent of such evil by Clu I feel this would explain Cyrus losing his faith in the revolution and the possibility for the Grid to be saved. Cyrus saw instantaneous death for all by explosion as the only way to save the Grid from further corruption and to cleanse it anew. 

And also dear writers but seriously

WHY THE FUCK DID YOU KILL ABLE WHY DID YOU KILL MARA AND ZED AND BECK'S DAD!!! AND TRON'S PARTNER ONLY TRUE FRIEND LEFT THAT DIDN'T BETRAY HIM WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK I KNOW THIS SHOW IS GOING FOR A DARK VIBE AND IT HAS AN INSANE BODY COUNT ALREADY BUT WHY DID YOU HAVE TO KILL ABLE OF ALL THE PROGRAMS??? WHY OH GOD OH WHY OH GOD WHY HE WAS THE NICEST PROGRAM ON THE GRID AND NOW MARA AND ZED AND BECK ARE ALL ORPHANS FUCK YOU I CAN'T DEAL WITH THE FACT THAT ABLE IS BLASTED INTO A MILLION CUBES WHY JUST WHY. AND NOW THERE'S JUST ONE MORE EPISODE LEFT AND THIS SHOW IS CANCELLED AND IT'S JUST GOING TO END WITH EVERYONE GETTING DEREZZED BECAUSE EVERYONE JUST DIES WHEN TRYING TO FIGHT THE CORRUPTED SYSTEM APPARENTLY THAT'S THE MORAL OF THE SERIES EVERYONE JUST DIES OK WOW BUT REALLY THIS IS THE DARKEST SHOW MARKETED TOWARDS A YOUTH AUDIENCE THAT I'VE EVER SEEN I DON'T EVEN THINK I CAN DEAL WITH THESE DEPRESSING SOUL-CRUSHING EVENTS ANYMORE BECAUSE YOU KILLED ABLE YOU KILLED HIM HOW COULD YOU BE SO HEARTLESS AND CRUEL ;__;

HAHAHAHAHA I WAS COMPLETELY NOT EXPECTING THIS SHIP TO APPEAR, IT TOOK ME COMPLETELY BY SURPRISE, REALLY JUST, HAH

Can we talk about Tron and Able together in the last two episodes and the whole thing about how they're Beck's two dads bickering like a married couple and arguing about Beck's future and just how Able challenges Tron and how Tron's learning to have a relationship with another program again that isn't just ordering someone around and how Tron lent Able his light cycle and Able constantly sniping at Tron and calling Tron "dummy" and Able's "Shouldn't you be back in that geriatric chamber of yours" line ;__; and them fighting enemies together and Tron coming to Able's aid and Able being all indignant about why Tron didn't arrive sooner and Able bringing some semblance of humanity and humor back into Tron's wrecked foreveralone life and Tron finally showing a modicum of compassion with his "I need you both of you" and looking away and I DON'T EVEN NEED TO TRY JUST LOOK AT THEM

What am I gonna do now that there's only two episodes left in the season though...

At first I thought nothing was remotely shippable in Tron: Uprising since Zed is still stuck in friend-zone hell with Mara and all new characters pretty much die within the episode they are introduced in or the next and the vast running time of episodes is just chases and explosions but NOOOOO NOW LOOK IT'S TRONABLE ABLETRON WHATEVER NAME YOU CHRISTEN THIS SHIP SOUNDS GOOD I'VE SET SAIL ALREADY BYE
