Just wanted to show everyone the (in my opinion) badass design I came up with for Silverpine last night! I’ve had this OC for three years but have suprisingly never drawn her, as she was written solely for this awful oneshot horror short story I wrote called Silver Pines back when I was on Warriors Amino (don’t search for it, you won’t find it). 

Her story, to the best of my memory, was about how she killed her sister Birchstripe and ended up being driven insane by hallucinations Birchstripe’s ghost made her see, until Silver was crushed by a falling tree in the same grove where she had killed her. She went to cat purgatory where she would have a chance to get into StarClan, but she believed that if cats in StarClan were allowed to mess with living cats’ heads and torment them, she didn’t belong there. So she said “fuck you SC” and walked backwards into the Dark Forest.

Revisioned Medicine Cat Rules

I’m planning an OC Warrior Cat Clans story and came up with some changes to the Medicine Cat Code, so I thought I’d share them cuz why not?

Some of these are inspired from headcanon’s by other people:

A Medicine Cat can’t ignore a cat in pain regardless of whether the cat in question is from a different Clan or not a Clan cat  at all

A Medicine Cat has a professional confidentiality, meaning that they can’t share private information told to the them, not even to the leader of the Clan, unless the information is endangering the Clan. 

A Medicine Cat must share any omens from StarClan with their leader and with other Medicine Cats.

A Medicine Cat can’t use confidental information given by another Clan’s Medicine cat against a rival Clan.

A Medicine Cat is obligated to help another Clan’s Medicine Cat if they need help, even if their leader disagrees.

A Medicine Cat can’t take a mate or have kits if:

They  are the only fully trained Medicine Cat in the Clan

They are training an apprentice

They are a Medicine Cat apprentice

If their proposed mate is also a Medicine Cat (=Medicine Cats can’t mate with each other, even if they’re from the same Clan)

However, if there is another fully trained Medicine Cat in the Clan, it is acceptable for them to take a mate and have kits if they like, assuming that parental duties woun’t get in the way of their work.

if a Warrior decides to become a Medicine Cat Apprentice and has a mate, they are not forced to break up with them.

however they are forbidden to have kits with the said mate untill their training is completed

if they do have kits while still in-training, their title as a Medicine Cat apprentice is taken away permanently

this of course doesn’t apply if the impregnation happened before the Warrior became an apprentice (for ex. if they or their mate has kits one month after becoming an apprentice, they can keep their title. However this might be frowned upon and seen as a sign of the Medicine Cat apprentice not taking their newly wished position seriously)

funny villains who talk and make jokes with their heroes while they’re fighting them

the villains presented as the protagonists

*increasingly pulls out bigger and bigger weapons from more unlikely places*

“I said all of your weapons” *pulls out more*

“ALL OF THEM” *pulls out one last tiny dagger*

traumatized character using humor to cover up ptsd

characters going out for a break at a restaurant/movie/whatever and something bad happening

using the “*gasp* what’s that over there???” trick to avert the enemy’s attention and it working

a villain’s weakness being something totally random and nonsensical

a hero duo arguing over who’s the sidekick while fighting a villain

“don’t be silly, we don’t need [important thing]”  “you lost it, didn’t you?”  “yeah”

“what’s the one thing I told you not to do tonight?”  “raise the dead”   “and what did you do?”  “raised the dead”

“I think that went pretty well” *explosion in the distance*

Several cats have been named with the prefix or suffix ‘Song’ so how come the clans don’t have their own traditional songs?

I want Windclan chriping that echoed throughout the tunnels and carried on the wind. I want them to learn how to match the beat of a song to the beat of their paws hitting the ground so they can train their apprentices how to run faster and it leads to generation after generation of training songs!

I want Shadowclan telling word songs about the glory of battle and strength in powerful deep voices or the mysteries of night in light, airy tunes.

I want Thunderclan having prideful sing-alongs and festivals to celebrate the coming of newleaf and a special song sang to every kit the first time it leaves the nursery.

And dammit, I want Riverclan shanties!
