fuckign… did i tell you guys i went to an advertising conference a few weeks ago for extra credit in one of my classes and one of the guest speakers was the team that runs the wendy’s twitter
when these people talk very deliberately about how they work to make people think of the wendy’s brand as both a) a person and b) their friend
when they put one of those pieces of “anime waifu” wendy’s fan art up on the screen and some degenerate in the audience wolf-whistles
People be tryin to find loopholes to give a shit about these corporate run twitter accounts as if its one sad lonely underpaid intern helplessly posting against their will and bettet judgement to appeal to the unpredictable masses. It’s literally Teams of people who went to school to purposefully understand how to manipulate masses of people. They deserve our hostility in abundance

Today I learned that cuttlefish experience REM sleep, and that it makes their skin flash random colors. This is the cutest thing ever.
The electric eel at my aquarium has a voltmeter attached to his tank, and whenever he pumps out a burst of electricity–either when he’s navigating his tank or getting fed–the meter lights up and makes noise. Sometimes, I’ll walk past him when he’s snuggled up and totally motionless on his log, and see the voltmeter going crazy.
I am left to assume that he is dreaming, and is sleep-zapping at the things in his dreams.
I am absolutely delighted to learn that electric eels dream of kicking ass.

DINOSAURS OVER THE YEARS
This is a series of posters I made to show how our perception of Dinosaurs and other animals of the mesozoic changed over the years. These and few more are featured in a Youtube video you can watch HERE

Mainstream American media is also poking fun at and parodying the way Marie Kondo talks to and thanks inanimate objects like they think that’s some batty new-age eccentricity of hers when it’s literally a definitive aspect of her shinto beliefs. She has a background as a shrine maiden and is an actual practitioner of a spiritual philosophy that assigns spirits to objects and ideas. Professional journalists and public personalities are apparently so oblivious to the most basic-ass day-one Eastern religious beliefs that they apparently only heard of this concept a week ago and assumed it was an LOLRANDOM gimmick one woman invented.

LIKE BEES, MARINE MICRO INVERTEBRATES ARE POLLINATING SEAGRASS.
Researchers at the National Autonomous University of Mexico found something big! Seagrass reproduction was believed to rely exclusively on currents and tides, but now new evidence show that seagrass in the mexican waters -and surely in other parts- is pollinated by marine invertebrates such tiny crustaceans and bristle-worms.
Based in experimental evidence researchers demonstrated that marine invertebrates are pollinators of Turtlegrass (Thalassia testudinum). Since this kind of animal-seagrass interaction was practically unknown, cientists had to invented a new term: zoobenthophilous pollination.
- Different microfauna - crustacean larvae (a,b and c) and polychaeta (d) - with pollen grains. The bars represent mm.
Seagrass are one of the most productive ecosystems in the world. These environments are found in shallow salty waters in many parts of the world. Despite they are often confused with algaes, actually are related to the flowering terrestrial plants.
