Snape/Hermione. A marriage law story where Snape shows his true colors and is an ass through out most of the story. But there are many parts that are so precious that I have stayed up tell 3am two night in a row to try and finish this. He gets a tad brutal some instances.

Have you read For the Only Hope by ausland? It starts out slow but it's getting good. The author has a couple of other sshg fanfics too. The Love and All it Entails is the best of the shorter ones. Also, the classics like A Problem with Purity and When a Lioness Fights. And I also like The Phantom of Hogwarts.

You should read this Snape/Hermione Fic: Care of Magical Creatures! It's one of my favorites. Oh, thank you for the recommendation! Although unfortunately? fortunately? I've already read it. Although I second your thoughts wholeheartedly, it's one of my favourites, too, the plot's absolutely brilliant, and I love the ending. One of the few stories I actually had to read straight through, damn everything else taking up my time!
