I'm curious about what books people consider apart of the canon for tumblr users? not just popular but also that you associate specifically from discussions on this site

like, dracula daily emails ensured a lot of people here read dracula, and i will always associate not just sherlock holmes but the pastiche hound of the D'Urbervilles with my time on tumblr. but i wanna know what other books, old, new, whatever, that people associate with tumblr

i feel like there's a big overlap with early 2010s booktubers favourites, and i would be interested in any genre and style contrasts with booktok too.

It's hyper_piggie!

This is a mascot/avatar character I created to use. Her name is Cassini Jade (CJ) and she is a Moon Pig (Moop).

She lives in a small satellite orbiting Saturn. The satellite is a repeater station that helps move messages across multiple galaxies. She is the only Moop stationed in the Milky Way, and lives alone on the station. The Milky Way is pretty out of the way of most Moon Pig colonies, so not many messages come through - but she believes keeping the station running is an important job that she takes seriously.

She does get bored easily though, being all alone. So she likes to play video games and watch or listen to the signals she can pick up from Earth.

Okay, I know this is referencing the Papyrus skit, but for real I think Rocky would like this font. It’s readable, but the rough edges add texture and the upward sweeping curves on the tails of letters add a visual flow that would interest him more. Rocky would luv Papyrus as a font.

Ok, mother of GOD that's a lot of responses and I am but one man with Excel. I'll update these ASAP but also some rules:

A Pokemon only counts for itself, not its evolution line.

A Pokemon with multiple forms (like Zygarde) will only be counted for the specified form. A Pokemon with multiple appearances (like Spinda, Vivillon, Sylvally, etc.) count for all their appearances.

I'm literally doing this as a testament to my own depression that not everyone is lovable, so add that to the weight of this post's meaning.
