Why is it that in every alternate timeline/reality everyone is mean to Ruby?

Not just Carla (which we all know she's ready to abandon her any minute) but in this finale two parter, The Doctor was so rude to her?? On multiple occasions? Belinda was nasty to her for no reason too.

I just find it weird that my litmus test for "is this real" is "are people nice to Ruby"

Like I know these 2 seasons was the original deal ncuti made, but I feel like we’re burning through doctors at this point. Like they don’t have to all be Tom baker and stay forever but like damn, with 14 only having 3 eps and 15 having only basically the length of one full season, like we’ve gone through two incarnations in less than 2 years!
