It all began from a chocolate as a gift.
.. Started talking for our friendship to uplift.
Both were cautious , if we did right?
Both held our ego and pride, tight.
But, I’m shocked that how did we even become close,
I’m stunned that it’s you whom I chose.
Yes, I’ve made a friend- a best friend.
The days in college passed like a raging river,
The nights, by the chats, pulled up by a virtual lever.
Compliments filled our gallery,
There was no less rivalry.
Every fight, sorted out like a super fast jet,
Every night, played the role of a magnet.
Everything seemed to be fine,
I started thinking you as mine.
Yes, I’ve made a friend- a best friend.
The first day, when I thought, “wasn’t it all a mistake” ?
The day when even you didn’t budge to give it a easy take.
You made me think that you’re alright, I did the same,
Both of us knew that all what we did was nothing but a false game.
No doubt, our expectations got hurt with no such intentions,
No doubt, we both would have taken certain decisions.
But, hold on before taking those decisions far,
Just hold on, until we get back and stand at par.
The only thing I did today was thinking about our good memories,
Then was astonished to notice our changed priorities.
I believe that when you get negative things about a person like you, think of the best things he had done,
I did the same and found you to be the best who could handle me with perfect pun and fun.
I hate you and Even I don’t wanna lose you.
If that was my motive, I would have never been friends with a sadu..
