Explanation for this ship from my moot *ahem*

Nyramond takes into the psyche of both of these inbred losers: Rhaenyra and Aemond. Let’s start with Aemond first; he is the delulu second son who believes himself to be the ideal candidate for the throne over his older brother and half-sister. More so over, the twink also suffers from the second-son syndrome much like Otto and Daemon, and seeks to claim whatever is freely given to his older siblings. His relationship with Nyra is built more on the idea that he ‘deserves’ it than him truly wanting it first. Get it?

And now coming to Nyra; she is ruthless and wants that crown. One of the central tenets of Nyra’s arc is her entitlement - and she will do anything (which can be often callous and careless on her part) to achieve her desired ends. For Nyra, Aemond is the favoured son of Alicent and the rider of the largest fucking dragon. Couple that with Daemon’s unwillingness to adopt her route, she seeks out an upgrade with a snatched waist and silk press over her husband’s raggedy rat-tail… and you’ve got Nyramond!
