And to be honest I think the whole surrendering an animal of you are no longer able to give it the care it needs is unfairly judged. What is he supposed to do? Let it suffer slowly to death because he can’t properly care for it anymore? That’s better than handing it over to a facility or someone else that could? That’s more humane?
