One of my favorite fics I’ve ever read in my life is Mana. It’s a Shisui x oc Naruto fanfic and it kickstarted my obsession with unavailable and unreadable sunshine characters. Characters so bright and sunny that it blind syou to seeing them. Gnashing my teeth right now
Is it wrong of me to crave a love based on nothing? To want for someone simply because it’s easy and convenient and there? I read all these stories with people cosmically bound to each other through every lifetime and universe, but what about those whose love is random?

A little something i had in my wips for a while, an AU where Both Zane and Kai end up in the Never-relam.
Long story short- after a good couple of years of them waiting for the ninja, Zane realizes that time may never come and since Kai is only getting older, he decided to use the scroll and make sure Kai lives long enough to see them again. (Get frozen idiot)
Kai gets no say in it.
In Zane's mind, he is protecting both Kai and the ninja.
And then the ice emperor happens anyway.

So, a The Bear mob family AU when? I've searched far and wide for an actually good one where shit makes sense and i still can't find it. It's like... it can't be over the top 1920s esque. It just can't. I know it's hot but it just doesn't make sense. It's, like, it's gotta less like Peaky Blinders and more like The Sopranos in terms of how casual and normalized and unglamorous it is. And it's all hush hush, like everybody knows Cicero is not just your run of the mill broker but that's not just something you talk about. And everybody knows why the Berzatto patriarch disappeared, but, once again, you don't talk about that shit.
And the reason for the clan-like nature of the Berzatto's is part them being all kinds of fucked up, yes, but also it's because they're involved with shady bullshit. But It's peripheral to their usual chaos, it's not the main thing, it's just a part of it. I can see Mikey and Richie being 100% involved in some capacity, that's a no-brainer, and Sugar not exactly liking it but still taking advantage of it and pulling strings because she's a pragmatic queen but I really can't decide what Carmen would be like in this scenario. Does he even know? If he does know, does he know the full extent? I'm thinking maybe it's just one of those things he keeps getting sucked back into out of sheer necessity. He's much like Sugar in that regard but he's the most bothered by it out of all of them. But still, it's right there, the option. Fancy restaurant not paying him a liveable wage? Cicero's got money. He'll borrow him money, he'll give him money, of course, he's baby Carmy! Sometimes there's strings attached and sometimes there's not. It depends.
Either way, I'd really like to read a fic written entirely from Syd's point of view where it's like these little vignettes of her asking for something and getting it surprisingly soon or a Situation™ she has resolving itself suspiciously fast. She doesn't wanna ask because, hey, she got what she asked for, why question that? And Carmen's just eating it up like 👁️👁️ yes. Just take it. This is what you wanted, right? 👁️👁️ Because he can finally use this thing he's vaguely connected to for Good™ aka providing for Sydney, which is the ultimate good in his mind.
It's like a whole thriller in my mind, a saga of Sydney getting more and more swept up in it and she has to decide whether she should say something or just... let it happen. It's easy, it's fast, and Carmen's over there looking... hungry. He just wants to help. He'll help her. Let him help!
