My Jiang Cheng support rant

OK so my whole jc support post is here because this edit sparked things in me

SO this song I bet on loosing dogs is very much fit for jc and wwx dynamic aside from the fact that its pretty doomed one sided crush thing which is surely not what we want from jc and wwx uhm no jiang cheng would die coughing blood if he heard this. So, this song were not taking it in a romantic way as of love for a significant other but as love for your older brother yk because since when did a song mean only one thing.

So the line that are used in this song at the very beginning: Tell your baby that im you baby

You know this literally made me realise that jc might have felt like lwj and wwx are getting close to each other and how him and wwx are falling apart this could be another reason of his backlash. Mind you jc didn't know that wwx gave him his spiritual core at this time. This must've filled him with so much envy towards lwj that you can see he would show his anger towards lwj also. He even felt like his big brother wwx was being taken away from him by some people who wwx didn't even know for that long. It was supposed to be wwx and jc together for the rest of their lives building the clan and taking it to great heights instead of this dull and ugly reality that jc had to face.

This is seriously such a coincidence considering how jc lost his dogs due wwx. Let's be honest even if jc felt inferior to wwx and others he nvr cared for the other but for wwx he was always worried sick. Never forget that jc literally tried to save wwx from his mum's abuse, it wasn't his fault that he was powerless in front of his mom, afterall he loved her tooo. Jiang Cheng has all his life had to live in the middle of difficult choices. Like between his mother and father, between his mother and wei wuxian and finally between his brother wei wuxian, comiting crimes in the eyes of the society and the his family's clan. because siding with wwx meant that his clan that he was trying so hard to rebuild would be very much destroyed but still he cared for his brother so much even if he had been feeling betrayed for so long.

Let us not forget also that initially he tried his very best to support wwx as much as he could their solo fight at the burial mounds was all show in the drama. But after the death of jwx and his sister he couldn't trust wwx anymore. Why? because wwx had promised him (and lwj) that he would not go out of control with this sour method of cultivation AND jc believed him and let him do it. He stayed by his side AS MUCH AS HE COULD. Let's be honest even wwx wouldn't want the jiang clan to be destroyed just because jc was out there supporting him jc made the best choice he could by kicking out his brother. AND HE DIDNT KNOW THAT WWX WAS IN CONTROL BUT I WAS THIS MF JGY WHO MESSED SHIT UP.

It amazes me just how beautiful wangxian is -- a ship analysis for myself

There's going to be stuff everyone already knows and stuff that i inferred on my own.

Colours

Starting off with the basics, the colour pallet. Black and red accents for wei ying and white and blue accents for lan wangji. While the black and white colour scheme is used for many danmei ships, wangxian owns it very much. The colours are complete opposites of each other, but together, they form a complete harmony, like when you see black and white next to each other it looks and feels complete, same with red and blue. Also the fact that black and white when mixed together form grey, which symbolizes neutrality, balance, sophistication, and calmness. It can also represent wisdom, maturity, and stability.

Neutrality

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji's personality's are polar opposites, Wei Wuxian is bubbly and cheerful whereas Lan Wangji is reserved.

Initially in the story wangxian were like fire and ice, they could never really get along, i mean no one thought they would end up getting along, realy. But when it's too warm then a cool breeze gives you relief, and when the breeze is too chilly, the warmth of the sun gives you relief. Hence, wangxian neutralize each other, which is visible in many scenes, specially in the scenes where lwj is the reason why wwx does not end up murdering everyone because of how angry he would get.

Balance

Balance is not just from an equal amount of two opposites. It is not just the fact that Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian balance each other with their contrasting personalities and same core values.

Before meeting each other, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian both largely conformed to their respective molds and didn't venture far beyond them. Despite being abused, Wei Wuxian was still a kind of 'rebel.' He broke the rules of the Lan clan and had a free-spirited nature, showing that he wasn't very accustomed to having guidelines for himself.

Whereas we already know that lwj was very rigid and his adherence to rules and tradition was strong.

Thus, after meeting each other wwx and lwj were able to help each other find balance and explore the world farther. Wwx helped lwj to explore his feelings and his thoughts and discern what they actually meant. Wei Wuxian also helps lan wangji to break free from societal expectations. And lwj, helped wwx to realise that setting boundaries for himself is important and how can he do so, he made wwx realise that he too has limits, and gave wwx a sense of grounding and structure.

WWX encourages LWJ to embrace his emotions and step outside his comfort zone, while LWJ provides WWX with a sense of stability and encourages him to make responsible choices. Thus finding balance in eachtoher.

And thus, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian bring each other- wisdom, maturity and stability.

Making moves (consciously and subconsciously)

Lan Wangji has always found it challenging to express his feelings openly, especially compared to Wei Wuxian's direct approach. While WWX has a natural talent for conveying his emotions through words, Lan Wangji’s way of showing affection is rooted in actions rather than verbal declarations. He often communicates his love through thoughtful gestures and steadfast support, which makes it difficult for him to take bold, direct steps to express his feelings in words in the early stage of the story (also its quite evident that they both were dumbasses who failed to see just how down bad theywere for each other). This contrast highlights the depth of his emotions, revealing a quiet intensity that doesn’t rely on spoken language but instead speaks volumes through his deeds.

AND ITS NOT LIKE lwj cant say it but if he does, this boy would not understand it. boy is trying his best at making a verbal move too, but IT'S JUST NOT HAPPENING like over here at this blog by incorrectuntamedmodaozushiquotes's head canon.
