(1) Edwin Echidna is a monotreme, an egg-laying mammal. For his species, eggs are, in fact, “mamal [sic] development”. Check your placental privilege. (2) The “eggs” one ovulates are gametes, like sperm, not the unit which houses a developing life, like a uterus. (3) You all really suck at analogies and science, tbh.
