Today is the March for Life, with the theme “Pro-Life is Pro-Science”.
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend this year. However, I have friends and family who went, so they’ll be representing our parish.
In the meantime, I have made a commitment to offering my day for the March and all its participants. My thoughts, actions, words, and prayers are for the March.
Today, the Catholic Church calls its members to fast and abstain from meat as a sacrifice. What saddens me the most is that I’m unable to like and reblog every pro-life post on this website, but I know you’re out there. Make yourselves heard today. Fill your blogs with the message of life, whether it’s the unborn, the elderly, the poor, the marginalized. It must be understood that we’re safeguarding ALL LIFE, from the womb to the tomb.
I’m praying for the unborn.
For the mothers and fathers of unborn babies.
For those who feel that they don’t have a choice.
For those pressured or threatened to have an abortion.
For my Catholic and Christian brothers and sisters.
For those who are ridiculed, mocked, and persecuted for standing up for life.
For those who protect life in all of its stages.
For those who have been touched by abortion.
For the boys and girls who would have been alive today if it weren’t for abortion. For my missing acquaintances, for missing school mates and employees. For the missing people who we will never get back.
For anyone who has ever been dehumanized.
