I just remembered a thought I had.

Gordon with no eyes behind his glasses, like, his player model has no eyes. His glasses act as his eyes and when they're removed, it's just darkness. He can still hear but he can't see until his glasses are put back on.

Benrey sharpies eyes onto him when Gordon sleeps.
