mike wheeler went from being the most amazing, empathetic character ever with an actual contribution to the story, to just…being there

it truly feels like mike was only in character in volume 1 and the storytelling scene and with comparison to season 2 mike i don’t think i’ve faced greater loss

every robin and will scene was supposed to be an ode to will accepting himself — not merely opening up to mike. it was about realising that he didn’t need mike to love him back to have any true power or strength

this story is about queer self-acceptance even with unrequited love
