That feeling when you’re writing a new story and suddenly everything starts fitting into place
If you liked reading Percy Jackson…
You should read this series where every character is a fallen star
And they have powers associated with the myths of the constellation they come from
“If you want to get away with murder, be a writer.”
Well, then, I guess I’ve become a serial killer
A book where the ancient gods never abandoned us
They grew old and lost their power
Then realized they could regain it drinking human blood
We forgot they were gods and started calling them vampires
A vampire book but with a new twist
Where the ancient gods are the original vampires when they realized drinking human blood keeps them eternally youthful
Instead of protecting us now they hunt us
And if they bite you, they can choose to turn you immortal and you will inherit their power
Welcome to the coven
I wanted to read a book series like Percy Jackson 🔱
But based specifically on the myths of stars and constellations 🌌
I couldn’t find one 📚
So I decided to write one✨
Art is always subjective
It has nothing to do with your creation and everything to do with how it was perceived by someone
Reminder to myself:
The first draft doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t even have to be good.
Just write it
Writing Prompt:
Write a story about a character who falls in love with a ghost, not knowing that person is dead
It’s officially been 10 years since I started writing my first novel
To celebrate that milestone, all of my eBooks will be $1 on Amazon from Jan 25-27
If you like mythology-inspired books, go check them out!

Most of my books are based on ancient mythologies.
There are so many ancient stories that are lesser known and shouldn’t be forgotten.
* 10 things I have learned from 10 years as an author
1. The first draft doesn’t have to be good, it just has to be written
2. You don’t have to feel inspiration all the time
3. But if you feel it, write it
4. Write the stories for yourself, not the audience
5. It will take time. Weeks, months, years. It doesn’t matter. Take your time.
6. It’s okay to rewrite entire scenes, chapters, or the whole book until the story feels right
7. The process for drafting each book might be different, and that’s okay
8. Don’t compare yourself to others. Every story, like each life, is unique
9. Art is always subjective, if someone doesn’t like your work it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with them
10. Never let anyone tell you whether the story is good or not. It’s your story, and every story deserves to be told.
