I am literally always thinking about femmes fuck everything I love you all
I am literally always thinking about butches fuck everything I love you all
body type does not determine whether or not someone can be butch or femme- butches and femmes can be of any weight, any build, can be trans and/or nonbinary, etc. it’s okay. we are allowed to exist just as we are.
Butches don’t need to be cute, pretty, petite, skinny, have delicate features, shapely bodies and be “cleaned up” accordying to patryarchal standards to be handsome.
This absolutely goes absolutely for butches of color and trans butches too, racists and transmisogynists must die.
my girlfriend is fucking beautiful and perfect and fuck anyone before me that made her feel otherwise, you didn’t deserve her

Lesbian is a gender in and of itself
Women who love women and specifically don’t love men will always have a uniquely complex relationship to womanhood in the sense that being a woman is almost inextricably tied to loving a man, so removing this from a woman’s identity removes a fundamental element from her subconscious understanding of what it means to be a woman. so many lesbians feel disconnected from womanhood not because they love other women but because they don’t love men, because this is so easy to internalize as an inherent aspect of being a woman and that makes it very easy not to feel like one. gender only exists within the societal framework which constructed it and because that society is so patriarchal and binary its perception of the woman gender is skewed through that lens. so i don’t think that society necessarily hates lesbians for loving other women, i think it hates lesbians for not loving men, for being women improperly. many women feel disconnected from womanhood for myriad reasons but this particular experience with gender and being a woman is one that belongs only to lesbians, so when i say that lesbian is its own gender this is what i mean.
Don’t discourage your butch friend from cutting their hair short
Don’t tell your butch friend they look so much prettier and should dress like that more often when they have to wear makeup/feminine clothes
Don’t tell your butch friend that disliking traditionally feminine things is just “internalized misogyny”
Don’t compare your butch friend to men
“looking like a lesbian” is good actually
girls are just so [clenches fist] fucking pretty
If you’re a lesbian struggling with your mental health right now, dealing with depression or anything that makes it difficult for you to function normally every day, you need to remember that it will get better, that you are worthy of love, that you don’t deserve this and that it doesn’t make you a bad person or someone lazy. You are fighting your own battle and you have to prioritise your mental health, you are having bad days when it feels like you are stuck, unable to move and “do something with your life”, but there will be good days, better days, moments when you’ll finally see changes and improvements. Don’t ever give up, you can be strong. If the only thing you did in the day was take a shower then at least you did that, the important thing is that you’re alive and as long as you’re alive there is room for healing. ✨
im a simple gay, i see a girl, i asfkjdgfhjk
I feel so much safer whenever gnc folks are around. butches, effeminate gay men, androgynous nonbinary folks, unapologetic visibly trans folks, thank all of you for just existing and walking around and making public spaces feel more like home
if my girlfriend was talking enthusastically about an interest that we did not share, i would simply listen with excited interest. rip to straight men but im different
It’s like…
Turning your head into the sunlight on a chilly day and feeling the glow warm your skin
A face covered in dog kisses
Apple cider scented candles
The feeling of the dirt on your hands when you are gardening on a summer day
Jumping in a pool with all your clothes on
The blur of the world in the early morning before you put your glasses on
Making faces at a baby in the grocery store just to see them smile
Running through the rain with no shoes on
That sigh of relief when you are finally in the arms of someone you care about
-What is loving her like?
butch and femme culture is being big softies with each other
