I have to say for something that sounds kind of saccharine and too 'wholesome' to be taken serious, "my purpose in life is to make my friends happy" ranks as i think just slightly less sustainable or healthy a philosophy than "my purpose in life is to get the best grades possible" or like tying your self worth to like your income or creative output or whatever.
