I’d hate to be a woman in the public eye
I never got over anything. I miss everyone and everything. nostalgia and grief kill me every day. oh and I also love going on walks.
It’s extremely fucked up that some ppl try to make you feel stupid and immature for hoping for a better world. You say you want world peace and mfs think you need a pacifier; dawg, I just don’t want ppl dying from violence. This idea that ppl simply must die as casualties of war is misanthropic to say the least.

the thing about being "good with kids" is all it takes is literally just not trying to control and mould them with every interaction. it's just being a normal person and engaging with them through normal interactions like having conversations and playing games. it's just being genuine and friendly and not perceiving them as lumps of wet clay you are there to shape. "oh you're so good with kids" thanks it's because I think they are people
this orange was pregnant. Isn’t the world amazing
Dissociation is a trick the psyche plays on itself. It allows life to go on by dividing up the unbearable experience and distributing it to different compartments of the mind and body, especially the "unconscious" aspects of the mind and body. This means that the normally unified elements of consciousness (i.e., cognitive awareness, affect, sensation, imagery) are not allowed to integrate. Experience itself becomes discontinuous. Mental imagery may be split from affect, or both affect and image may be dissociated from conscious knowledge. Flashbacks of sensation seemingly disconnected from a behavioral context occur. The memory of one's life has holes in it—a full narrative history cannot be told by the person whose life has been interrupted by trauma.

Was driving with my grandmother and in broken English she says “no eyes… no nose… no face. Don’t trust.” To which I looked around wildly in search of this omen of ill portend.
Cybertruck. It was a cybertruck.
btw it's so fucking stupid you can be anxious physically in your body even after you've decided mentally you don't care. I'm supposed to be in charge here
I can't verbalize this in the way I want to, and I don't want to make any woman feel like she's not allowed to complain. But every time I see the uterus personified as an evil entity and periods treated as bad, I low-key cringe. No, your body isn't inherently meant to be pregnant, and no your period is not a punishment for failing to be pregnant. You're not failing at being a woman because you aren't having babies. Your body is not turning against you because you did something wrong. Unless you suffer from an illness that exacerbates your periods, you're just going through a neutral, dare I say good because it's a sign you're healthy, human female experience. This way of thinking feels like the modernized opinions of a medieval priest.
The uterus evolved to protect the woman from a fetus. If a fetus implants anywhere else, it siphons resources to a dangerous degree and MUST be removed or the woman WILL die.
The cervical mucus and uterine environment is actively HOSTILE to sperm.
A period is not your body punishing you for not being pregnant. Your body doesn't WANT to be pregnant and actively avoids it. It's your body disposing of the old armor and building a new set to try to keep you as healthy as possible if a fetus latches on to you. It is not nutrients for a baby, it is nutrients stored away to PROTECT YOU. Even WITH that protection, a fetus will STILL siphon calcium out of your bones and teeth, still delete the nutrient stores across your whole body.
Without that lining, you would DIE. It MUST be replenished and maintained, or you will die in the event of a fetus.
i also believe that if female body was properly researched and women’s pain was taken seriously, no women would have periods lasting 2 weeks, periods they lose consciousness or vomit from, etc. there is no other normal human state where such symptoms are considered healthy and require zero treatment.
If women's health was taken seriously, tampons wouldn't have arsenic and 10x the safe concentration of lead and "experts" wouldn't come out doing damage control like "but we don't KNOW that the lead is absorbed!"
