Hi. Uh, my name is James Buchanan Barnes. I’m Steve’s best friend. Or… I was until he thought I died. And then he came back. Yay… but he went back and time and left me. So… yeah.

But now I’m friends with Sam (@we-love-redwing) and he’s great. Just… don’t tell him I said that. He’s been a lotta help. And his nephews are great.

I try not to think about my past as an assassin. It’s not who I want to be. So please… don’t bring it up if you can help it. The trigger words have been removed from my head but they still make me very uncomfortable.

Anyway, I kinda only make this cause my therapist said it’ll be good to get out the house and get to know people. So here I am. Yay I guess…

And apparently I run a team now. Bunch of misfits who get on my last never but hey… I love em to death for some reason. Because of them though, me and Sam aren’t really on speaking terms. There’s a big legal battle that’s going on, yada yada yada. It’s a personal issue that we’re handling.

In other news, actually good news, I have a great boyfriend. Well… he’s a little annoying at times but I love him to death. @clintbarton-thearrowguy has been with me through thick and thin since the beginning and I really appreciate that.

It was a lot to take on… but he had found someone who was more than happy to carry the load. “ it’s a lot of trauma even for therapists who might not be equipped to handle such situations. Sometimes all you need it someone to comfort you during the episodes instead of talking about them later on..”

Marie shook her head and crossed her arms over her chest as a chill came over her. “ I’m sure there’s someone somewhere in Greece but there wasn’t one where I lived.” She told him. “ I’m sure this spider-kid would like to stay here anyways.”

Bucky offers her the jacket he’s wearing. “No I’m begging you to take the spider-kid. He talks way too much. He’s probably small enough to fit in your suitcase.”

Marie seemed to ignore his offer of his jacket, not wanting to be rude and stealing his warmth. She chuckled at his words and shook her head, “ don’t say that! I’m sure he’s as cute as a button.”

Marie still looked unsure but carefully took his coat anyways. “ are you sure? I don’t want you to feel like it’s compulsory! We are almost at the place so I’m sure I’ll warm up there.”
