3 Leadership skills required in a great leader, according to the Marines

Here are three qualities that the Marines develop in their leaders.
1.Ā Communication: Your team won't know what they should be doing if you don't tell them. For good work to be done, you need to share all the intel with them. By communicating productively with your team, they'll grasp what needs to be done.
2.Ā Dependability: We're all looking for somebody that we can always turn to. Someone who finds the solution every time you turn to them When you are the one that somebody can turn to no matter, you build trust in your team.
3.Ā Open-mindedness: Every situation can become fluid. A good leader keeps an open mind and knows when itās his time to take charge and when itās time to shut up, be humble, and listen to what somebody else has to say. Leaders with this quality show a thirst for learning, an ability to see things from different views. They also have high emotional intelligence. This shows that they have an awareness that their beliefs and that of others can be limiting.
