Hello tumblr frens! Thought I’d make a little directory so you can find ur way around all my doings and whatnot~ 🩵❄️

First of all, I’m Sol! A character artist and webcomic creator based in Canada! I love fantasy, romance/BL, cats, coffee, and have a small (ok not so small) obsession with winter! ❄️

Shadow Onto Light is my fantasy BL webcomic in development! It’s not yet released but I’m constantly sharing new art and lore as I write~

First and foremost you can find a huge amount of info about the story, characters, and world on my website ❄️ solenaj0y.com ❄️ I also have a Fan Creations page where you can submit fanart/fanworks of my characters at any point, or you can just post them here and tag me, I absolutely love seeing your creations!!

Secondly, I have written an 11k prequel short story which you can read through my newsletter Sol’s Frosted Quill where I also send monthly cozy letters with exclusive lore and extra content 🌌

And last but certainly not least I have a small art discord server Sol’s Winter Bakery which doubles as my webcomic server where you’ll see any and all random thoughts and doodles I have, plus there’s so many wonderful and supportive artists for you to meet!

I’m watching frieren finally (halfway through S2) and it has been mind blowing how chill and relaxed it is like it’s such a nice break from the over dramatized and intense animes (which I also love!) maybe this is why frieren has such an appeal right now with how stressful life has been lately :o

ALSO I am SO happy with how this piece turned out, I’ve always wanted to draw these kinds environmental/magical fanarts 🌿🦋

I’m curious if I made small prints of these if anyone would be interested? Maybe like postcard size or something 👀 pls let me know ur thoughts! I could even draw some sticker designs for frieren too 🩵

Sometimes I forget winter backgrounds don’t need to be all white and blue and there can still be greenery, not only is that normal in reality but I mean especially in my fantasy world I can do whatever I want! Hehe 🌿❄️

Also I’m pretty sure merlin sleep talks and says a lot a random spells while asleep so Arthur’s fear of repeating the donkey ear incident is valid
