They've been together since Wendy's freshman years and now she's on her 3rd year, With Dipper and Mabel on their 1st with Dipper helping both with their general education studies.

GF Shipruary Day 12: Wendip!

In addition to having a headcanon of exchanging their playlists and bad movie collections, I somehow managed to form an idea that both Wendy and Dipper hunts for bad movie video tapes and DVDs when video rental shop chains like Blockbuster closes down.

I don't know how many video rentals left in the early 2010s, but I still remember when these were still common in the mid-2000s in my country. That was a part of its motivation!

Witch Mabel AU doodles! Featuring Pacifica and Mermando

I imagine Mabel becomes much closer with Mermando while she's hiding out in Gravity Falls, but takes much longer to develop romantic feelings for each other. There is always a rift between them because although Mabel is likely capable of it, she's reluctant to help Mermando get home, since she doesn't want to go home herself---but neither of them can quite confront each other about it.

Pacifica has been noticing someone on the edge of the woods, but she hasn't said anything because she's learned not to talk about supernatural/ghost stuff from her parents in order not to seem crazy.

mabel looks for spells on youtube to be able to turn into a mermaid at will so she can spend time with mermando underwater and she goes through 47 of them and feels like giving up but she sees that meme image of the guy mining with diamonds right behind the point where he stopped so she tries another one and the 48th one works. it was uploaded by an eleven year old 14 years ago in OneTrueMedia who just made up random bullshit like "drink a glass of salt water" and "look at the moon at midnight" for views. that's the one that actually works

Been rewatching Gravity Falls, and the idea of 20-something Mabel meeting up with Mermando during spring break floated up from my subconscious.

“He can stay here,” Jheselbraum said stubbornly to the Axolotl. “He’s not the man who defeats Bill, he doesn’t have to leave. We’ve done so much good together-“

“You know that’s not how it works,” the Axolotl said gently. “We cannot interfere beyond preparing him and giving him courage.”

“But I love him.” Jheselbraum said quietly. “And I think he loves me.”

“Oh.” The Axolotl said, and was silent for a moment. Then, finally, “I did not foresee that.”

“Neither did I.” She answered, not looking at the entity. “But here we are.”

“Here we are.” The Axolotl was once more silent, but it was more contemplative this time. When it spoke again, its voice had less of its imperious tone, and was almost… kind. “Bill is the largest threat to the multiverse I have ever seen, and we cannot do anything that will endanger his defeat. But…” it looked at Jheselbraum, possibly a twinkle in its eye, if the Axolotl was capable of such a thing. “If they manage to pull this off, I promise we will find a way for you and Stanford Pines to be reunited.”
