There was a sparkle in his green hues while holding up the dark chocolate cupcake with a mint frosting tinted to be green. It might not be the BEST cupcake ever, but it was certainly his best ATTEMPT so far. He used all the proper ingredients without mixing up any. Sure it might be a bit. . . BASIC but for a beginner it wasn’t half bad. Though TASTE would certainly be a factor. He knew the cake was good and the frosting wasn't horrible on its own. Mint and chocolate tend to be a well-balanced pair but that still didn’t mean the cupcake itself would be delicious.

It was the sense of familiarity in the air that first told Allen that he knew this world, knew where his gate had landed him. And it was rather funny, how he had no destination in mind when he took the Ark, how the Ark chose for him. Maybe it had to do with how he felt Nea’s presence more now, how the Ark felt like home and safety, even when he still had to avoid using it too often.

Part of him already knew, but it was only when their gaze meet that Allen was certain. Except his gaze took into the tiredness of his counterpart, heart pained that even if he had wished for the other to remain free of it, it was not meant to be.

So, Allen smiled, soft and sad. “It really has. The Ark seems to like sending me here… Not that I mind.”

He HATED how exhausted he felt. How it sunk into his bones and very SOUL itself. While he would not give up and roll over into his GRAVE so easily, a part of him longed for the comfort of silent BLISS. Back when the VOICES in his head were SILENT and he was surrounded by friends and warmth. A time that had long since past and will never come back. FATE had set things in motion and his days slipping between the cracks in his fingers.

❝ The ARK does seem to have a mind of its own. But, since you’re here, maybe you would like to catch up? ❞

Head canting to the side causing long silver strands of hair to fall over his shoulder. Lips pulling upwards into that BRIGHT smile he knew all too well how to fake. Even has his cheeks lightly wrinkled from the action it never seemed out of place on his face.

‘ where the hell is the exit in this place ? ’ the main headquarters was big – much bigger than the lab, and so yū couldn’t help but be lost. leaning against the wall, he glares at an empty space ( not seeing the woman – not yet ), frustrated at his inability.

His soles clicked against the hard ground as he moved. Hand clutching ahold of a small bag which contained a variety of food items inside. A late snack of sorts ( But is it truly a late snack when anytime was a good time to eat? ) that he had obtained from JERRY. Only for him to pause when a small, child’s voice filled the air.

What? That wasn’t TIMOTHY’s voice.

❝ You shouldn’t be out here alone. It’s dangerous for a child. ❞

Considering how everything was a MAZE down here. He made no haste in trying to make his way towards the small child’s frame.

When Tikki first entered her life, Marinette wasn’t quite sure what to expect. First instinct was to decline and try to convince the god to pick someone better. Though it was quite clear how well that attempt went. Here she was still fighting Hawk Moth with Chat Noir. Though the events that have happened to both of them since day one to now were things she never expected. She never expected to fall off that building during a fight, she never expected to find out her partner’s identity like this, she never expected any of this. Looking back at what they’ve been through she quickly realized one thing.

If she didn’t have him, if she probably would not have made it this far. He was so key in her making it this far. Because whenever things went south, she always found the strength to get back up and fight again because of him.

“I thought cats liked to do nothing but lay around?”

She replied with a smile on her face. Whenever they had these back and forth conversations she always found herself calmer. It was hard to explain why it calmed her down. Maybe it’s because she knew that as long as they were together they could do anything.

“I’d like to finish this before we go out. But if you want to leave now we can.”

Her remark forced a chuckle to flee free from his lips. Arms stretching out before dangling freely once more over the bed. While it was true cats like to LAY around, he’s done enough of that his whole life. Constantly cooped up inside with nothing to do. Always sticking to the schedule others choose for him.

At least here it was diffrent. If she was here, he doesn't mind not really doing much. Especially since he can’t really go anywhere without being swarmed with cameras. Her too as of late due to the fact she was his girlfriend now. Something he would always feel a bit guilty for.

❝ We DO. But I can’t help it when I have a beautiful GIRLFRIEND, all I want to do is spend my days with you~ ❞

ADRIEN all but purred out. Body shifting to roll over onto his stomach once the blood rushing to his head became a little too much, even for him.

‘ tch. ’ he neither denies nor agrees with either accusation ( well, because he did get worried while alma was gone, and he did get into fights, but that usual for him, really ). still, there’s some edge in his body language that softens when she sits beside him, as if her presence alone calms him.

and, well, after being separated for so long ( after having her blood on his hands for so many years ), there’s some truth to that. it had been surprising to everyone else, after all, how much alma could get away – and what alma could make kanda do, when she was stubborn enough about it.

They are one in the same in that regard. Filling the void spots the other had. While she had a calming effect on him, he had a similar one on her. ALMA had always been rather loud, upbeat, and vocal. BOUNDARIES were something she never understood as a child either. Yet, as she got older it was something she learned to accept. Her outspoken childish like attitude was something she always would retain. But, KANDA was the only one who seemed to mellow her out. Put her at ease where otherwise she seemed constantly restless.

He had an odd way of making her feel SAFE and at HOME.

She shifted, moving to lightly rest her chin against his shoulder. Batting long plum lashes at him Lips pulling into a wide smile before shifting in favor of pressing her cheek into his shoulder instead. ❝ Ne, did you at least WIN the fights you picked? ❞

She teased him playfully.

Lips curling into a full-blown smile as she made her way to his side. Frankly, she’s known him long enough to know what he says isn’t always what he MEANS. Being SOFT wasn’t really in either of their nature. Having been hardened from experiences beyond their control. From tragedy and death. Her hands were stained with so much BLOOD all she could see was red on them. Even though the remains of that time had long since been washed away.
